Love the small detail when Thor is telling how his drink isn’t meant for”mortal men” but he pours Steve a glass, signifying how highly he thinks of rogers

He said Comic reference. When this came out it was a fan tease bc of how much it is said in the comics and cutting it short was a tease bc comic fans expected him to say the whole thing.
Quick cameo you might not have noticed. When the Helicarrier shows up to rescue the civilians...the bridge crew has Fury, Hill and the Helicarrier Launch tech from Captain America and the Winter Soldier. The one who, with a gun to his head, refused to launch the Hydra-carriers. I always liked that they brought him back.
James Spader voicing Ultron absolutely hits the mark perfect. Ultrons mannerisms and speech pattern evolving as he learn about everything from finances to pop culture and especially his sarcasm increasing is so convincing of a learning and evolving android. "I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan" or laughing with a tone of disgust at the rightousness of Captain america. James Spader NAILS it!

Spader captured their attention so much that they kept looking at his (real) eyes. Most of the scenes wete caught, but there's one scene where for a second it looks like Wanda is checking out Ultron's junk.😄
As "not good" as age of ultron is... I love the movie. I loved what it brought to the table. Maybe not how it brought it, but it set up what it needed to, and vision and Wanda were PERFECT additions to the MCU
The big suit of armor that Tony summons to fight Hulk is called the Hulkbuster armor. Tony codenames it "Veronica" as a reference to Archie Comics. In Archie Comics, the main character Archie has two competing love interests named Betty and Veronica. If you recall from the Hulk movie, Bruce has a girlfriend named Betty Ross. So Bruce's "other girlfriend" is Hulkbuster, a.k.a. "Veronica."
"Peace in our Time" is a famous quote from Neville Chamberlain of Great Britain who said that he had managed to make peace with Hitler to prevent a future war. That didn't go well either.
Props to Maria Hill, who even though she was going to a 'We just beat the bad guys' party, at Avengers Tower, knowing that Iron Man, The Hulk, Captian America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Thor, would be there, still decided to come fashionably strapped with a well concealed pistol, cause ya never know. And also an honorable mention to whoever thought they might need a gun strapped under the bar, in case a fight broke out over a game of pool.. in Avengers Tower, between Thor, the Hulk, Iron Man, etc.
Looking back at Wanda from the start of her journey (on screen) to where she is currently is truly mind boggling & terrifying growth by all standards 🤯
"Peace in our time" is an infamous, ironic, bragging quote from Neville Chamberlain after he signed a peace pact with Hitler before World War II, which Hitler soon broke.
Ultron is very underrated in my opinion. I was sad to see him go. Also Wanda had a power spyke when her brother died. So her powers are permanently stronger now.
I don’t think so. Her powers just respond to extreme emotion. Her power level didn’t really change here. She was just more stable mentally up until that point.
As I've said on other channels, Wanda is my favorite character. Her (long) story in the MCU is wild and heartfelt, and this film gets it started. Keep watching. You'll see.

If I remember correctly, this was the first movie made AND released after Disney bought Marvel. So the Pinocchio reference was a nod to Disney as well as Ultron being free from the web. Also, hi Emme. New subscriber here.
From the moment my brother started letting me read his comic book collection in the 1970s Vision became not only my favorite Avenger, but my favorite hero. In many ways he is more human than many people. It was so great great that Paul Bettany, the actor who voiced Jarvis, won the role.
I am liking your reactions more and more as I watch each one. Personable, cute and witty. Your students must love you as do your nearly 30,000 subscribers.
In the comics, Ultron wasn't created by Tony Stark, but Ultron is still a menace and a foe of the Avengers. And just like in this movie, it keeps upgrading itself. It's interesting to see how the MCU adapts the stories from the comics. So, for those of us who grew up reading the comics, we can still be amazed by the movies because we don't know how the plot and characters will be changed. The Maximoff twins started out on the wrong side in the comics but joined the Avengers.
'Peace in our time' is also a direct quote from Neville Chamberlain in 1938 (Prime Minister of England). He had just flown back from meetings in Germany with Chancellor Hitler. He was holding aloft in his hand the document of agreement that resolved all of Germany's territorial ambitions in Europe. Thus ensuring 'Peace in our time.' Hopefully anyone who graduated High School knows how that worked out for everyone.
Oh cool little fun fact. The reason the hulk buster armor is called 'veronica' is because bruce banners ex girlfriend is betty ross. Its a reference to archie comics where betty and veronica would always be fighting over archie for his affections. So basically veronica is 'the other girl' in bruces life.
You missed the part at the end where Natasha is on facetime with Clint's wife after the baby is born. The baby is wearing a shirt with his full name Nathaniel Pietro Barton, they named the baby after aunt Nat and Pietro since he saved Clintn's life.
The OG "AI is too creepy" movie is "2001:A Space Odyssey" (1968), which also has some of the best space special effects ever. It's probably best to have a gummy or two before watching.
Steve laments that he doesn't have the normal life he wanted before he went into the ice, and he lost both his parents even before he became Captain America. But what he has now is a new family - all the heroes he gets to be friends and work with.
Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda was a fantastic choice she has done great recently also Wanda in her final form is one of the most powerful marvel characters if I remember correctly
Loved this movie that introduced one of my favorite Avengers "The Vision" and the proper meeting of the Maximoff twins (even though they killed off Quicksilver which is not an actual comic book event). Also I read on your Twitch that you refer to yourself as "half girl, half robot, and half ravioli" which can not be, you should in fact be 33 and 1/3 girl, and 33 and 1/3 robot and 33 and 1/3 ravioli making you 100% "Cyborg Chef Boyardee".
Whats the final infinitely small % left over from dividing Emme into thirds made of though... always gonna be something left over when dividing a 100% by 3. lol...
Once again, brilliant cannon conversion. Like "Hawkeye," "Wanda"(she who will be named "The Scarlett Witch") and "Pietro" (never got a CHANCE to be called "Quick Silver") were bad guys who were converted to heroes. "Cliff" talking "Wanda" down was a brilliant touch.
Veronica is what's known as the Hulkbuster in the comics. Tony calls it Veronica because Bruce Banner's girl is Betty. Betty and Veronica were the two love interests of Archie in the Archie comics and later in the CW series.
Fun little fact... ultron in the comics had multiple versions, each one becoming more powerful and evolving as it learned. In the movie they show this by ultron constantly replacing itself. From the first time we see the cripples robot hobbling around singing Pinocchio to when an ultron literally rips apart the ultron that is narrating his own plot. Hes constantly building a newer better version and since he shares the same conscious across his AI his new body just picks up speaking where the last left off.
"They cut him off". Yes, because the Avengers catchphrase in the comics is "Avengers assemble!". So they're teasing the fans everytime Cap says "Avengers" with a certain tone, and he never ends the sentence (or does it otherwise than "assemble"), it happened a couple of times before even in this movie. Who knows if he will be able to say it complete some day? 😏
Hawkeye's kid's name is Nathaniel (Reference to Natasha) Pietro (Wanda's brother reference) Barton. Pietro saved Hawkeye's life and in return he gave his kid Pietro as a middle name.
My favorite comedic exchange in this movie is during the part where Fury appears in a Helicarrier: Cap: Fury, you son of a bitch. Fury: Ooh-hoo, you kiss your mother with that mouth? 😅😂🤣☠️
Nice job of picking up on Wanda's power, and they just scratched the surface in this movie. Wanda (aka The Scarlet Witch) is among the most powerful characters in Marvel comics. Pretty high up there.
It (Ultron) at the start spirals so fast already because it is an Alien A.I. derived from the Mind stone itself. Yeah, and it gets so fast at learning, that by the 10 second mark, it can already process information faster than Jarvis could. Jarvis thus wanted it to hibernate and cool down a bit, and contact Stark regarding the revelation, but it was too late..
You could say that part of the reason Ultron decides humanity needed to go is the fact that, even if they didn’t show him listening to that part of the recording, is that Tony and Bruce agreed that with it, the only threat to the world would be people; you could say based of that and learning about human wars on the internet that led Ultron to the conclusion that if everything was machines under his control, then people would no longer be a threat to the world therefore there would be “Peace in our time”👍🏾 (I personally choose to see it that way😁)
Awesome loved watching your reactions to this video having watched the entire Marvel Universe its refreshing to see some one watching for the first time .😂
Emme, if there's anything you need to know about the Hulk, is that his true strength and power is within the comics and his immense strength is far, far, FAR more higher in than what your seeing in the movie. So they still have yet to show that in the MCU. In the comics, they call him the *"strongest one there is"* and for a reason too and again, they still have yet to show that in live-action movies. *KEEP THAT IN MIND!* 💪
I love your reactions because you're following the 2 best franchises in MCU and Star Wars. Great way to build a channel. You'll be a SW and MCU guru in no time.
Sadly only like 1 out of 20 reactors actually care and wanna know more about these universes. Most just do it for views then forget about the movies entirely. Sadly she’s definitely one of the 19 lol
Love the small detail when Thor is telling how his drink isn’t meant for”mortal men” but he pours Steve a glass, signifying how highly he thinks of rogers
Steve's metabolism is super. He can't really get drunk drinking regular booze. He's closer to an Asgardian than a human now.
Yeah. Plus the serum probably helped, since in CA 1 Cap told Peggy he couldn't get drunk (off mortal alcohol presumably)
its more that he knows what everyone says above not about how highly he thinks of him, he just simply knows cap is different, a super soldier
@@matthewdunham1689 Steve's metabolism is 4 times faster than a normal human... They mentioned that in Captain America First Avenger... 😁

From the first time we see the cripples robot hobbling around singing Pinocchio to when an ultron literally rips apart the ultron that is narrating his own plot. Hes constantly building a newer better version and since he shares the same conscious across his AI his new body just picks up speaking where the last left off.
It's also similar to what Stark was doing in Iron Man 3.
Emme that was a very enjoyable movie reaction, and "Thor Junior" is such a fun nickname!
Thank you for that.
"Caterpillars evolve into butterflies" no girly that's metamorphosis 😂😂😂
The original pokemon 😎

"Good thing we have archery dude."
Oh, the disrespect!
This movie is so amazing🔥🔥🔥
Love this movie so much. I don't care what people say about this movie😍😍😍
That's so touching, I didn't realize that.
36:17 Thor Jr 🤣🤣🤣
Anybody else notice how similar Emme and Linda Cardellini are?
My favorite comedic exchange in this movie is during the part where Fury appears in a Helicarrier:
Cap: Fury, you son of a bitch.
Fury: Ooh-hoo, you kiss your mother with that mouth?
😅😂🤣☠️
Right after work, got a coffee and breakfast now this ! Lesss gooo 😮💨🔥
Ultron spends 3 minutes on the internet and decides humanity must be destroyed, which is fair
Everyone just be glad the Hulk is on our side for the most part because if he was a villain, OMG 😮
I just now noticed that Ultron blinks. That's a weird feature.
I still can't believe Hawkeye's wife is Velma from Scooby Doo
Wdym? She is much more than just Velma btw.
I like how caught on to the Wanda in WandaVision but not the Vision in WandaVision
You could say that part of the reason Ultron decides humanity needed to go is the fact that, even if they didn’t show him listening to that part of the recording, is that Tony and Bruce agreed that with it, the only threat to the world would be people; you could say based of that and learning about human wars on the internet that led Ultron to the conclusion that if everything was machines under his control, then people would no longer be a threat to the world therefore there would be “Peace in our time”👍🏾
(I personally choose to see it that way😁)
Me and Cap ain’t got to know each other but he is a good leader for us.
18:26 That's what she said 😀
No, literally, that is what she said.
In the comics, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff are the children of the mutant and supervillain Magneto.
New subscriber here, I love the way how you reacts on the movies.
welcome to the Wanda fan club ❤
Awesome loved watching your reactions to this video having watched the entire Marvel Universe its refreshing to see some one watching for the first time .😂
I’ve waited so long for this
The Jarvis robot is named Vision..
WandaVision..
Yeah, lol..
This one is underrated by most fans
