Noncombattant Evacuation Operation

When civilians need to be evacuated from a dangerous place or a place where there are problems, the military launches a NEO, a Noncombattant Evacuation Operation. Depending on the severity, more or less troops will be flown in. This exercise by the Dutch army's Ranger battalion was a small scale NEO.
