- First time I've done this, as you can see from the achievement popping. I would've failed Through the Fire and Flames if I was actually able to.
Note: I have the sound effect volume turned down which is why the cut scene is almost silent.

just go download gh3pc with lots of custom songs. you can even play orig gh 1 2 80 and etc. setlists
Fun fact: Neversoft thought that Through The Fire And Flames was way too hard, so that most players would be stuck on it for a long time, and wouldn't be able to beat the game. So they made it the end credits song, which does not have a rock meter. This is the reason why the 8th tier of the GH3 setlist does not have an encore song. Unlike GH2 that had Free Bird, despite the game warning you before playing the last tier's encore song that Free Bird is way too difficult.
This solo inspired me to get better in real guitar

Manuel Alejandro Torres Yeah I was using my original GH2 guitar for this and up until a few months ago this year actually. It lasted like 7-8 years which was awesome, whammy bar was floppy for a few years though so that didn't helped but it still worked. Don't play anymore though :(

GH3 is the only GH game I have went through on all difficulties, easy-hard on PS2 and expert on xbox 360
You said you would fail this song. Based upon what I had seen, I disagree. You miss a few chains of notes, but not enough to make you fail. Into the red, sure, but you recover nicely, and do hit a lot of high speed sections close to perfectly. I'd say you'd get at least four stars in this. Maybe even five!
I believe he was referring to Through The Fire And Flames. The Devil Went Down To Georgia is still a very difficult song, though.

I've played since Guitar Hero 2 in 2006. I haven't played much recently though and when I actually decided to play I was nowhere near as good because I hadn't played in so long.
I had many attempts before trying this too so many arms were already pretty worn out before hand. But hey, I managed to do it for the first time :)

Is that hard or is it expert cause when you see the beginning on second player it's not going like super fast?
It's on expert. You'll see that at the end of the boss battle when the achievements pops and it literally says "You beat Guitar Hero III on Expert!". In boss battles, the sequences are different to when you'd play it solo. Sometimes you're both playing Lead, sometimes one of you is playing Rhythm and the other is playing Lead.

i'm trying this battle for a long time... like... 1 week ._. i'm really bad at this part > 2:14 ~ 2:20 , i really don't know how the fuck i can hit these '-' so i smash a bunch of buttons till i get it u.u it's a shame it didn't have a practice mode for boss song, it'd help me a lot to figure out these sequences :/

I remember I was 8 and it took a month to beat this and during the final credits my Wii glitched and broke and I had to buy a new one and I cried for hours over it
