You anyway don't need to wash it and you put onion n potato which you peel off the outer layer when you use so what's the worry

bhai 7 lakh mein kyu loot rahe ho... 4.5 lakh mein mein bana doonga tumko... bolo... maine apne gher ki 2 kitchen khud banwayi hai and full aluminium and laquer glass... tum to fir bhi hdf de rahe ho jo ek saal mein kharab ho jayega.
