These guys are extremely underrated. One of the best bands I've ever heard,..like literally every single song is amazing. I didn't even think this kind of music would even be possible to exist in 2021.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, THESE GUYS CANNOT MAKE A BAD SONG, THEY ARE HEAVY WHEN THEY NEED TO BE, AND SOFT WHEN THEY NEED TO BE...MATT'S VOICE IS FREAKING PHENOMENAL. IT'S AMAZING HOW HE CAN PULL OFF SUCH DIFFERENT FEELINGS WITH IT.

I am literally at such a breaking point in my life that I wake up only to start crying every day despite my best efforts. I survived something considered medically impossible in 2018, but now my body is deteriorating with a new diagnosis because it took so much out of me, and I don't think I can keep fighting this hard every day. This song is so fucking relatable despite these guys never having been on the brink of physical death (to my knowledge). 🤘🤘
Edited (November 2022) - thank you folks for the kind comments. I know we're strangers passing in the new digital reality, but should you happen to revisit - I made it a year. Walking has become very hard & I'm very frail, but still mobile; & I'm being "adult adopted" by a very nice family. (My former high school counselor & her husband.) They're helping me get better medical care to lengthen my life & we're working on a butterfly house & garden next to their existing lily garden (business). I didn't anticpate any of that within my wildest dreams. If my body holds out through to Spring 2023 - we'll be raising & releasing hopefully thousands on butterflies including monarchs. If so, I'll update again.
"If you're going through Hell, keep going." I don't know what your version of a butterfly house & acres of wings is, but keep fighting to get the chance to have your dreams come true. Life is beautiful & precious, even though it's ugly & painful. And when you sre in a position that you can - pull another person up. We weren't designed to go through life alone. 🖤🖤🖤
