I honestly admire his back vocalists not only because they’re so multitasking and talented, but also because of their willpower. I’d probably just start singing Hozier’s part and dance and freak out as the songs are THAT good. And if I had the voice half as good as theirs? This is flat-out my favorite version of this song, ever. The way the background music cut out at 1:53, leaving just the beautifully human warmth of Hozier’s voice - the vocalization at 2:35 - the way we see him communicating with the band with that hand motion at 3:44, and the absolutely gorgeous harmonies afterwards ❤
