Don't know how long the threaded area is but could you just use washers to space the steering wheel to make room for your fingers

yea its a tapered fit so nothing can be done other than lengthening the shaft, but this one seems like it is 1/2 inch longer than the old one. pretty good. Works perfect.

Have you changed the hydraulic and where can add hydraulic oil

Any idea if this steering assembly is the same as the l260? I can’t find any that say l260 but I found like 5 for the l245.

I think they are the same look at the pictures Mine was for the l245 and it fits on my L295 but it was about an inch shorter shaft. but it fits. technically they dont make one for the l260 or the l295 but it works. Just buy the one with the pitman arm on it like i did in this video.
