That's really a beautiful place. Nice waterfalls. It reminds me of where I grew up in Western Oregon. What a great place to canoe and camp in. I'm guessing it's under a lot of snow most of the year. You handled that boat's wake very well by the way. Those were huge waves!

Hey there Hans that was a great time out. I did a bit of searching and found out where you were. A real spectacular long lake in Telemark. Awesome! Paddling, walking and exploring all week - nothing better. Aaah just collecting water from the side of your canoe. Everything supplied including good vibes with some cool guys. I enjoyed the Lumpe and sausage as well as camping on an island. Auntie Kababoes cake? Any chance of shipping some over? Looks amazing. Good going. All the best. Mark
Spectacular area indeed Mark. Waterlevel at 70 mtrs with 'walls' up to 600 - 800 mtrs. Actually I´ve been there for four weeks. Most of the time I was by myself, being alone in the bush, which I find great too, and only one week together with friends. Shipping over auntie Kababoes cake? Ha ha, they don´t last longer then 15 minutes mate. Even IF they make it to a postoffice, the postman won´t be able to resist having a bite, and a bite, and a bite. The Bible says that because humans started living in sin God , who is Holy and good had to distance himself from us because he cannot stand evil , BUT , as it says in john 3,16 "For so did God love the world that He gave His only begotten Son , so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" , Theres nothing we can do fullfill Gods moral standard once we have sinned "For all has sinned and comes short of the glory of God" , that is why God sent Jesus to do what we couldnt , and that is to live His entire life without sinning , He died and rose again on the third day and everybody who believes in Him will be saved !
