Just wanted to thank you for the reminder to not smoke. I certainley think that your reminders to never smoke was one of the reasons I never really started while most of my friends did. I think an adult who wasnt my parent made a difference, so thank you😊😅

I’ve heard dermatologists say not to wash your face twice a day because it just dries it out and if you wash it at night you won’t need to wash it in the morning anyway
Do they still say to apply lotion and do a routine in the morning, just not washing your face? or only moiturize after washing your face at night?
i’ve heard derms recommend that you can rinse your face with cool water or wipe it with a toner pad/micellar water to freshen up in the am, since you might sweat or get oily overnight. but you can skip a full-fledged cleanser. then you should apply a moisturizing sunscreen with antioxidants. anything other than that is extra depending on any skin concerns you may have.

I’m 51 with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes/pale skin. With that being said…. I got major sun burns as a kid …(not on purpose)… and also had the classic Farmer’s tan playing softball every summer. Freckles and all. I use all AVENE products made in France. Their retinol products are amazing and are geared towards sensitive and eczema prone skin. I try to use sunscreen as much as possible but it tends to always break me out no matter what I use. Skincare has become my new baby.
i love avene’s products !! for me, the facial sunscreen from trader joe’s doesn’t break me out and i love how it dries down . i recommend it if you’ve got a trader joe’s near ya!!

I've just discovered the Lacura Rejuvelate moisturisers from Aldi and they're fantastic! Really hope they don't discontinue them over here in the UK!

I’m having a hard time quitting smoking and I’m 24. Here’s a video idea. Tell us how you quit smoking and the challenges etc. I think it would be really cool if it’s possible.

Mary, I love your videos. But please please please start using sunscreen in the mornings, it helps with wrinkles, dark sports and prevents skin cancer, it's just a must have. Also using it on your hands could help with the spots. ❤ Centella has a great one.

You're so right about everything I smoked since I was 16 yrs old I'm trying to cut it out of my monthly purchases I took care of my skin in my teen years I had no acne or marks I also am 59 yrs old I still take care of my skin ,
Great video as always. Growing up, my mother would wash her face every night with plain yogurt and then apply Vaseline. She is 95 years old and she only has a few wrinkles believe it or not.
