This is pretty much how I make most of my beats these days. Lay out a few patterns first, then find stuff and make it fit. Keep up the cool experience videos!!
That first sample on Prince 'Around the World' was used by Shut up and Dance (UK rave group) in their tune 'Lamborghini': ua-cam.com/video/jxjMR1Sb6xQ/v-deo.html. It also contains the main hook from Sweet Dreams by The Eurythmics.
So good, thank you! I don't know about your other subscribers but if I were you I wouldn't worry about the length of the video. I suspect I could watch an hour of you hunting for samples, just sayin'.
You got well lucky with the Klaus Schultz records. The thrift shops round my way are just full of James Last, Rick Astley and Now That's What I Call Music compilations. Thinner than a bottle of paint remover!
Fire as always, sir. Quick question-- do you have a soundpack via Patreon or Bandcamp for all your most-used drum one-shots? I always love the drums you use in every damn video. Thanks, Marlow!
Stupid question, but how much does a Vinyl cost? Like, one of those to dig? I found out my father in law got a Vinyl player for Xmas and I'm thinking about using it for sampling
Hey man, I love the qrates site. I am currently working on my own vinyl releases. I make techno. An I really wanna get as many pieces of promo vinyl out there, I have a E.P coming up and just wanted to know, Did u press at 33 or 45? 12inch? Im going for 1 side 33 with 2 tracks, And one 45. maybe ill do 2x 45 12s. How long did it take to press?
You know you don’t have to hit a new pad when you chop. You hit the same button and it will chop onto the next pad for you and you can Quantize while you chop👍🏽
@@mpchead that’s dope man I’m also Portuguese but raised in London, I’m about to start a UA-cam series. Could I dm you a private link on Instagram to get your opinion would really appreciate your critique ?
@@mpchead I checked out his works . The flute is amazing ! I couldn’t believe how he incorporated Indian Classical Music Scales( Raga) in them . It was stunning . Needa make some beat . Super fired up

Klaus Schulz "X" is a lifechanger dude.

As always a great video and crazy production.
3:13 Man I want to hear some apocalyptic bars over these cinematic industrial sounding samples.
Best series. Thanks again Marlow.

Hi Chris, I share drums I make on Patreon and I also you stuff from Cookinsoul.
🔥
Hi! Sounds incredible. Could you tell me what model is the turntable? Thanks.
What type of music gender is that? Looking for those without out vocals
Do you get copyright claims on these kinds of videos? Dope beats man! Love the way you make those beats and they way you find those samples! 😊 Subbed.
I don't play the song too long so it doesn't get copyright claim
Stupid question, but how much does a Vinyl cost? Like, one of those to dig? I found out my father in law got a Vinyl player for Xmas and I'm thinking about using it for sampling
You got cheap records and tou got expensive records. From 50 cents to 100 euros and more

Nothing sounds like a sample, it's all about chopping
Skip the Prince Album don't want you to get sued by Shawn Carter or The Estate of Paisley Park..other than that you good 👍
@SUPA ROCKIN DJ SMASH who is Shawn Carter?
At around 1:44 you kinda record into the different pads by pressing the pads, How do i do that?
In the sampler you have the option of pads, and even in the Sampled edit you can chop this way.
I’m wanting to purchase my first piece of equipment what do you recommend bro I’m not computer savy!!!
The new SP 404 mk2 is looking good

👍🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥👍🏾
i’m just so confused how you made those songs that were at completely different BMP than the drum loop fit so well. Like at 10:55
13:50 picth down is better
Which model turntable are you using?
That's a audio technica thmn.to/thocf/wlw2skcebo
what was the name of that Paul Mauriat record?
How to seperate the vocals from the instrumental, does the MPC have an option to do that?
No that option is not available in the mpc
