It will be fun to look back on this video when you are old, like me (69 yrs) and see if you still have any of these plants. I still have a couple of plants that sat on my desk when I was in college, I graduated in 1978. The tiny desk size dracena marginata is now taller than me. I hope your most favorite plants grow old with you. 💚
@@karenmcnair3982 oh wow, that’s amazing!! I sure hope some of these plants stand the test of time like that 🥹
Since you live up I-35 from me…have you ever visited East Austin Succulents? I can’t remember who mentioned it to me that they have a good selection of unusual cacti and succulents. I’ve been thinking about making a trip that way soon when I take myself off a plant ban. 😬
@@lovesyorkies3395 Yes I’ve been there! I have a euphorbia from them and I love to get my planters there! I haven’t been in a month or two though so maybe I should head back soon 😊
@ yes please!
Subscribing for saffron. ❤
@@lvas1929 Saffron is the best! 😻
my oldest plants are
- peace lily,
- chinese money plant (the one with flat round leaves),
- pachira aquatica
@@miikaela1 It’s so crazy how resilient our plants can be!! I brought my plants into the garage when we had a deep freeze and my African Blue Basil lost all of its leaves. I thought it was dead for sure but once I brought it back outside I started seeing some green growth!!
@@acatinthegarden yessss ❤️ haha never throw away sticks until spring hits, you never know of they're still alive or not 😅
@ Definitely! Even in my raised beds I wait to pull up the damaged plants until we get some warm weather. So many plants end up surviving!!
