I wouldn’t call this an Easter egg, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was actually sick when the Season Seven premier was recorded.
The scene where Elaine was screaming at her neighbor’s barking dog must have been filmed after she got her voice back and was most likely inserted into the episode to explain the hoarseness of her voice.

That IS really awesome. The only way to catch it is if you have an amazing memory or for some reason stream them one after the other. And streaming didn't exist when that aired so unless you got really lucky watching them on syndication, you would never see them close enough together to catch that. Simply amazing.
It's like the easter eggs some programmers put in early video games for the Atari. Sometimes the only way to find the easter egg is to look at the code for the game. But to do that in the 70s... I mean PCs didn't even exist yet. You'd have to design and build a device to read the data off of atari cartidges and print it off on a screen or paper. But even if you got the data, it's just binary. It's not meant to be read by a person. So you have to go through it one number at a time and literally decode what might be 30,000 numbers or more. Then depending on the easter egg, you might be able to go through the decoded text one letter at a time and see if any of it spells out anything meaningful or if it's just all computer instructions. If it's instructions then you have to decode what those instructions are. Write them out. Then reverse engineer the program to figure out what the instructions do. And then hope that those instructions have some sort of easter egg in them.

In the episode with the Sunshine Carpet Cleaners, at the end, Wilhelm is brainwashed and a now a member of the cult. He says his name is "Tonya". This is a reference to Patty Hearst, when she was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army, she used the name "Tonya".

Anyone who was a teen or adult back then gets all the types of jokes Jerry, Larry David, and the other writers wrote that refer back to the 1960s. There are may jokes they had that refer back to that time that only people who lived in the 1960s would understand. That's one thing I really loved about the show. They were " inside" jokes that NO ONE would ever get unless they lived back then. It was genius.

Also to see the stars that passed thru the show and went on to stardom ( Teri hatcher/Debra messing etc...)....and then to get all those characters to come back for the finale was incredible. To me this show along with Three's Company are the two best comedy shows of all time. The brown Ford Fairmont or Mercury Zephyrs that all of a sudden would not start? This was a blooper, the car was supposed to start but when it did not they just left it in and rightly so. So what happened?? These Fords all had an "inertia" switch in the trunk. I was a safety switch that would shut off the electric fuel pump if the car was struck from behind. When Kramer crashes that heavy AC into the trunk he inadvertently tripped the switch. This switch could also be tripped by simply slamming the trunk lid down to fast/hard. I remember driving down a street near a park and 7 lady's were pushing a station wagon up the street I was on. I asked what was up and one said the car would not start after just running fine. I asked if anyone of them had just closed the rear gate? Answer was yes, I got out opened the gate and reset the Button on the inertia switch, station wagon started right up. I got some nice hugs and a few kisses out of that one.

We got where we were going and when we came out the car wouldn't start, wouldn't even crank- (it was manual trans.) I guessed that the clutch pedal interlock switch got dislodged in the pothole jolt & it did! Snap it back in & we're back on the road.

Another Son of Sam reference was the episode Kramer is placing bets on departing and arriving planes. When Kramer inevitably loses he asks to go once more, double or nothing. Calls Newman (Kramer’s “bank”), Newman shows up at the Diplomats Club with a mail bag. Showing the bag to the guy Kramer is betting with he reads “David Berkowitz” Newman says “Son of Sam”. It’s revealed that Newman took over his route.

I had a green ‘73 Impala that looked exactly like the one in that episode. When I was in college, I took a Summer road trip with two pals in that great car. One of the hubcaps came off as we were driving up to Muir Woods in California. It actually rolled past us and one of my friends jumped out of the (slow) moving car and grabbed it. Pretty funny! 😄

There's a good Frasier joke too about Cartwright. Martin is out with someone and they had been talking about their favourite Bonanza characters. Later on he is mad at Niles and Frasier.
Martin: Boy, I've had it with you guys. If you were "Hoss" and Little Joe, Ben Cartwright would kick your sorry butts right off the Ponderosa.
    Frasier: Dad. Dad, we're sorry.
    Niles: Very sorry.

TV sets are blown open for better camera angle options. I think in real life the wall would be straight from the computer desk by the window across to the kitchen corner with the microwave. The end of the hallway seems to be the wall with the big framed photo of Shea Stadium next to Jerry’s bathroom, so I extrapolated from there. Some rare shots show a wall next to the right end of the kitchen cabinets, so the living space doesn’t have to be as narrow as that part of the kitchen.
