Here in Vancouver we have very similar weather as you. Many people complaining and depressed. 😅 A few years ago I made a rule for myself that on overcast or rainy days I must wear some item of bright colour to cheer myself up every time I catch a glimpse of it. Not only does it work to lift my mood, make me feel confident and in control, but also all day I get compliments from women!! ☺

I loved your enthusiasm for the car experience. My hubby collects cars like you do bags...agree, there is nothing better than to share the experience with those you love. Especially the generation like Ali's grandfather. And of course Ferrari is a language all speak! ; ) Yes you were a Bad beep behind the wheel! Adore Lumi and her basket lovin. She does that all time! Oh, and that jacket...brilliant buy! Ok, woman, your spider is hanging out near your door because of your porch light. Why? Your porch light attracts flying insects and the scary beast loves them. Change out your bulb to a bug light, it won't be pretty white light, but you kill/stop the food source your little door greeters will go elsewhere OR option two.. there are natural plants that will also deter them. But many may be dangerous for Lumi. Essential oil of those can be sprayed about. 5 to 10 drops of any one choice eucalyptus, citronella, tree tree, cedar, peppermint, cinnamon and there are others, a squirt of dish soap (this allows the liquid to cling a bit) in a spray bottle filled with water. Spray all around your door, brick will absorb it well. Do it everyday for about a week and they will eagerly be guarding your neighbors door! Option 3: Blow torch. Option 4: Marry a SPIDER KILLER. ; )

I will definitely be doing a new every day make up routine but the "ad" products are products that I use. Sometimes I think the issues with Ad content is because people don't really understand how it works. The industry is built on credibility and that is the reason there has been such success and the growth of brands working with bloggers and UA-camrs because in short, it works. For example, I am part of the L'Oreal Beauty Squad because for years I featured, loved and used their products organically, they saw every time I featured them and felt I was an addition to the squad, It's the same for brands like ByTerry, Rodial and Cult beauty. Sometimes a new brand will approach you with a unique clothing collection or a new product, you try it and love it or try it and hate it, but more often than not you simply politely decline which is what happens 95% of the time. Your integrity is worth more than any brand collaboration and you won't be able to buy it back after. I trust the girls i watch on youtube and thats why I watch them, so maybe its just that you don't understand or you don't trust who you are watching but don't just not listen because it says "ad" because some of the best products I use have been for campaigns and some of the best products Ive bought have come from watching other girls sponsored content so give it a chance :) xx

Inge Schipper Lavender essential oil is a natural spider repellent. I mix several drops with water, and spray it literally all over my house and now I don't have any spiders. (It doesn't kill them, just keeps them away)
Christina Miller, I just posted a similar suggestion...sorry, I didn't see your advice before I wrote mine out. I have found the eo will in fact kill them when sprayed directly on them. For the fall you can use cinnamon, eucalyptus, cedar many autumnal scents besides lavender! ; ) (sorry Inge, you have such a kind heart not wanting to kill them.)

Loved the vlog, as always. I can't pick a favorite part. I just love that for 27 minutes I wasn't thinking about the stressful 24 hours I've had or the pain I'm in. I also love that the editing seemed more relaxed (not sure that's the right way to describe it). Like, I love when you get really creative with the editing and music, but the bits in the Ferrari, it was nice that it was just the footage and no extra music or transitions. It felt like we were just out for a ride with you. This was seriously the most relaxed I've been all week. :) xx
Lumi and Lulu are adorable, and precious animals will always be amongst my favorites. However, I always love sweet moments that pull at your heartstrings, so Grandpa definitely rates as a favorite. Ali's face while sharing with Grandpa was pretty spectacular. What a proud grandson to add an extra sparkle to Grandpa's eyes! I would have loved to have seen your dad's reaction to the car, but completely understand him not wanting to be on the internet. Sorry we missed your Grandma, and I'm sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers that she's feeling better really soon. Basically all the warm and fuzzy moments are the best, to me! I appreciate it when people are thoughtful and kind and especially when they go out of their way to make happy and special moments for others! In today's world with a lot of ugliness and a lot of me-me-me-attitudes, I find life can be too depressing and disappointing if we don't take the effort to create and cherish all the important and meaningful moments with our loved ones.

My favorite part of the vlog was when you were chilling before the stove, talking to Ali's mother :-) But all in all, I quite particularly enjoyed this vlog in its absolute entirety, I think it was warm and refreshing at the same time, and you looked so relaxed, happy and rested, if that makes any sense (pardon my English if it's not correct, I'm French)

My cat passed away over the weekend. I've been rewatching your videos jsut for Lumi. I wish I got the chance to do #Athomewithlydia with my cat but please believe me he and I would snuggle up in bed and watch your videos. Chico always perked up when he heard lumi. Thank you for always interacting with your kitten so nicely and giving that experience to us. Its really helped go through my lost.
