This is so inspiring, I've been suffering with horrible gut issues for a while and acne and you sharing your journey is really helpful, thank you xx
Same here! It’s so encouraging to find other people going through the same thing.
@@alisecornia yes! I feel less alone in my struggle. Hope you’ll be better soon 🫶🏼
@@JoyRusco I hope you feel better soon too!
Finally someone who's not saying: go vegan it will clear your skin. Your diet is almost the same as mine, and the only diet that helped!!!!
Wow 🤩 Such a unique list of things you have adopted:) appreciate how detailed you go and it really has me thinking. I saved this video to really go into it all again to see what I can add. Very admirable the length you have gone to achieve the result - and the knowledge you have gained along the journey.
Thank you so much for this video, I believe this way of self healing is the best! And actually works! More people should follow the holistic health route 🙏
Thanks for sharing this! I know how vulnerable we are while suffering acne ❤
Very helpful information! Thanks for sharing your experience :)

Quick question to suggest my friend, when did you have black seed oil and when lemon water with salt ? Because I read that black seed oil is better to have forst thing in the morning but in the video you mentioned that you drink first lemon
Hey there! My assumption would be that it doesn't matter which order you take the lemon water and black seed oil in, as long as you take both before you eat your first meal of the day. I have both lemon + ginger water and apple cider vinegar diluted, and both of those are better when had on an empty stomach, but the order I take it in isn't really set. Again, just my educated guess, but I hope this helped!
YOU NEVER PUT THE LINKS IN THE DESCRIPTION!!

@@thaniagamboawhy you yelling lol
I thought maybe you'd like Toups and Co organics for makeup. They make tallow based, natural and clean products. Their foundation is amazing and actually has good coverage!!
It’s just sad how America really push these bad ingredients in food. Starch and Flour are great for you. Think about it the starch and flour here in the USA Isn’t the same as a country that drives on food they grow them selfs without pesticides and enrichment pastas. Pills and paying more to eat healthy is the way of living in the US. Luckily I decided to live over seas where I can eat anything I wasn’t without feeling like I need to look at some label for ingredients
To say someone healed there skin but still breaks out, does that mean it's truly healed. Not likely. Acne is mostly genetic and most cases and over production of sebum. If it was diet how do you explain fat people who most likey have poor diets with clear skin. Something like accutane regulates sebum production as well as skin cell turnover. Low does accutane can be quite helpful with reduced side effects. I'm not sure what studies were done on long term side effects maybe something to explore but it's one of the only treatments that addresses most components of acne.
Be grateful that your body/skin is telling you something is wrong.
Hey Mari, when can we expect Emily on? Can you list supplement list? Or time stamps? 🙂
Can you please post the supplement organizer you use?
Hey - you mentioned on a podcast in February that you tried the Aviclear laser but it didn't really help. I'm not sure when you had your treatment cycle...but I read that final results do not show up until 6-12 months after the LAST of the 3 treatments. So since your skin has improved so much.. can you really rule out that Aviclear did not work out for you? Thanks.
Mari, I love hearing about your healing journey. You inspired me to get off birth control and take control of my hormonal health. Keep doing you girl!
Did you get off?
How is your acne going?❤
thats alot of supplements!
Saw palmetto will reduce oil production. Half a teaspoon daily. Worked for me in days. When I stop the oiliness comes back. Still have acne. Had forever I’m 55 yr old female. Hope this helps someone a bit
Is there any side effects taking saw palmetto? I didn't know it was liquid always thought it was a pill form. Do you still take it? Do you notice less acne when you are on it?
Is there research studies done on almonds being pro-inflammatory? All studies that I have seen suggests that almond consumption reduces inflammation.
It has high omega 6. Those with acne need a high omega 3-omega 6 ratio
This is messed up. Nobody should have to suffer like that. :/
I wish i knew a good nautropath in england
Where are all the links in the description she kept mentioning?
Also which coconut milk brand, hard to find a good clean one?
Trader Joe’s has one with clean ingredients. Just coconut and water.
Incredible video. A gift to us all.
ive been listening while at the gym didnt realise it was just posted
❤
Same !!! I have heavy metals, molds, staph bacteria....my liver is suffering 😭 😫
Hi Mari @PursuitOfWellnessPodcast Can you suggest if face steaming would help for my acne?
Also, to be on Accutane, you have to be on double birth control because it cause severe birth defects.
do you still do all of this?? or especially the pills are just a therapy of X months?
Avocado oil is heat stable though
Love hearing about all this stuff, I dont have acne but I have very bad hormonal imbalances and other symptoms of this. I've been doing research for the past few years and always excited to learn more. You're beautiful inside and out Mari, glad you're feeling more confident 🩷
thank you for this
thank you so much girl for sharing these tips with us, i will definitely be trying them out!
Really informative video! Been looking for something like this for a while. Thank you ✨️
I’ve also been dealing with acne (other issues like acid reflux, WEAK immune system, and gut dysbiosis) for over 10 years too… I’m trying an animal based diet now… it’s only been about a week and I am looking forward to the next few months! Fingers crossed!
How did it go for you?
how did it go?? Hope it went well!
I’ve used Accutane two times and have had no adverse side effects at the time or now a couple of years out. It really helped me with my acne l.
My sister in law used that and then she couldn't get pregnant. It hurts your body in many ways
Did it not work the first time? I used it 5 years ago but had to stop after 2 months. It cleared me up for 4 months and then it started all over again. Should I go again? What was your journey?
@@disturbedgoat9929 the first time I was prescribed it, the doctor told me that most women have to do two rounds. My acne came back but not as bad as before. After my second round, I don’t really break out but for the occasional pimple so I think it was worth it.
@@AG-nn8lp I don’t really think that’s a documented side effect. Correlation is not causation.
@@disturbedgoat9929I honestly think accutane works only when you are on the drug. I don't think it truly cures acne as there currently is no cure. Once you go off the drug it comes back. Just like hair loss drugs like propecia. Once you go off the drug you will start to lose hair if you have a predisposition for hair loss.
Acne is always curable lol. Idk why people act like it's not!
If you are devastated about something that always heals, you're world would end if you actually gained an incurable skin disease like melasma
Wow. I was on 2 hormonal prescriptions, high dose antibiotic, prescription skincare, and my skin still wasn’t “cured.” There’s no need to belittle someone else’s experience simply because you’re struggling with something else. I hope you find help.
It feels like hell when going through it. Also, there's a lot of misinformation out there and not everyone's body responds the same way to treatments since everyone's circumstances are different. The hard part is not knowing how to cure this thing at the beginning.
Always heals? As a fellow sufferer of 15 years of constant acne on my face, I’d like to know what you mean by “always heals”???
There is no cure for acne. Not sure how people can say any different. If it was something that was always curable no one would have acne.
@AG-nn8lp It's a little insensitive to post such a comment not knowing the depths of other people's issues
This is SO helpful! Thank you for sharing your journey🩷 I know exactly how hard having acne is.
Have you ever tried going to Sarah Ford in LA? She seems super nice and has amazing results. Not sure if you’ve heard of her! 😊
The cure for acne is simple. Oral hygiene! When some people sleep they slobber alot and your mouth bacteria ends up on your face causing outbreaks. Before bed floss, brush and this is very important rinse with an oral antiseptic. Your face is fighting the bacteria coming out of your mouth. Also change your bedding once a week especially your pillow case.
This better be a sarcastic response...
This is the dumbest comment ever
This comment is extremely insensitive. Please don't give such advice not knowing the complexity of the human body
