The story of #PyariMona revolves around the main lead Mona, an overachiever, strong and courageous girl who excels in everything she does but, being a plus-sized person, Mona has to face challenges, problems, provocations and taunts just because she doesn’t meet the conventional standards of beauty set by our society. The serial highlights body shamming, bullying, harassment and its social and mental implications on the victim in a society with unrealistic expectations from women and stringent standards of beauty. Pyari Mona is an unconventional and interesting story of Mona as she navigates through her life. Written by Haseeb Ahmed, directed by Ali Hassan and produced under the banner of Momina Duraid Productions, the serial also features Mashal Khan, Adnan Jafer, Muhammad Hunbal, Naureen Mumtaz, Uzma Baig, Shaheen Khan and others.

How can a mother live so happy and carefree without missing her deceased daughter and specially when she died cz or suppressed feelings and depression given by her and her son in law. How can she not learn from it and never let another daughter marry that same guy
The funny thing is that no one tells Irfan to lose weight to match his wife who is very slim. Instead people are still telling Kinza to be careful or she’ll lose her husband to another woman!! Har angle se aurat hi pisti hai

Irfan is not as fat as Mona, he is chubby but not fat, secondly people are telling kinza that she might lose her husband to a much fatter Mona because Irfan had feelings for her in the past, it has nothing to do with being a woman, but irfan's past feelings for her.

It's very heartbreaking and challenging when one of your parents just speaks like society. Because a child deserves her/his mother and father support. At least there should be a space where a child can be real with their parents whenever there's a problem. Sad Mona's mom she's so materialistic doesn't care about her daughter just public fame and this happens in our society. The drama is going in a very good direction let's see what story will unfold. Its not being normalized, most probably babar will learn a lesson in further episodes, remember this drama is about "accepting fat people and loving them as human beings" and not about "people who hate fat people are heroes", fat people are the heroes in this drama while the villains are those who dislike them for appearances, villains are always shown doing bad things.
