When I lost my GSD two years ago I was so devastated. I cried and cried for weeks. All I did was watch GSD videos on YT for over a month. My GSD used to sleep with me on a small bed. I also took him with me to the store etc as I am retired and disabled, so he was always with me, it was like we were joined at the hip. He couldn't bare to be apart from me and I would always think of him the few times I had to leave him at home. He was such a great guy. Mother Nature is too cruel. I had him for only 10years. I miss him.
I suggest that in the meantime of your healing process, consider volunteering a few hours a week at a dog shelter. I did this when my Sofie passed and it really gave me a lot of comfort, as well as it did the doggies I spent time with.

I can't stand hearing another Frenchie passed away from illness or carelessness of a human. I lost my little girl Frenchie in November 2021 from aggressive lung cancer & we didn't have any indication she was sick until the day before her diagnosis & she passed away 4 days later in my arms!!! It's spring of 2024 & I'm still crying for her!!! I miss & love her so much!!! Our vet clinic didn't charge us for any of their services. They paid a company for the cremation, her urn & pawprint. They even sent us a bouquet!!! Our furbabies are our children & when we lose them, they go to the Rainbow Bridge & wait for us to pass away & call their name. Sorry for your loss, I remember when my dog Harold passed away. I remember after they put him to sleep he was laying just like that, I stayed strong but once I was in the room with him one last time saying goodbye I couldn't help myself and cried so much. I had him for 13 years.
Really sad. All pet owners have to go through this. Its overwhelming. To look at the little lifeless body but think of the first day with them. The laughs and adventures and cuddles, all over now. Its heartbreaking.
My heart breaks for you and your family. We always do the same thing with ALL our fur babies when they cross over. My husband and i are both being cremated and having ALL ( 15 in total ) of our fur babies urns and ashes placed together with us both in a companion urn made of Oak with a White Maple cross on the top. We consider our pugs and our cats as members of the family, deserving the same dignity and respect as any human person when they leave us. Your Jiggy was a precious little soul, and you'll be reunited with him again one day. Your now free little one.

Having the means to afford such a service is something I can only dream of. I've had to say goodbye to many animal companions over my lifetime (the cruel reality of keeping animals with short life expectancies...) and I do what I can to give them a thoughtful send-off, but it doesn't feel like it's enough. We did the same with our Shih Tzu Queenie. We are so happy to have her urn with us at home. We travel with her too. We miss her but feel her presence every day. I'm glad they have these services now.
My Shih Tzu Queen passed away 3 days ago had her for 13yrs. I'm so heart broken 😭💔 she was loved by the whole family she was my other child I know she's in doggy heaven there's no more pain

The places near me mostly just have you drop off the pet and pick an urn and then later you come back to take them home after its done. I wish we could stay with them the whole time like you got to. I did have to skip a few seconds here and there to keep from crying. Can tell you love him as much as I love my babies. My poor doggy Tucker has an enlarged heart and in 2 weeks will have to be put down before it gets bad enough for him to suffer. His brother Riley passed a few years ago, i have him in a small urn on my nightstand, but soon they will be reunited and kept together in one large urn.

That same year my pet cat died, precious paws also attended to our needs. Glad they are able to allow you to view the full process. I only left the chapel and retrieved the remains after few days. This week I also lost our 16 years old dog.

Thank you for sharing your baby with us. This video helped me explain the process to my Daughter. We just lost our baby Coco on Friday. She had passed away in her sleep. It was devastating. I lost my French Bulldog less than two days ago and his death was a surprise and shock as there is nothing wrong with him. The pain of his loss has shattered my heart and my family is hurt and it’s hard to function. I’m sorry everyone has lost a pet. I don’t know if I’ll get over this one or be able to get past this.

I’m so sorry for you! Sadly this happened to me too but my dad brought my dog that wasn’t excruciating pain in the morning. She was barking and everything and my dad took him to the vet and the vet put her down.

Life is crazy 3 weeks ago. My cat 18 years old. I always said goodnight to her. But this one night I didn’t see her on floor. I got outta bed and went in living room and there she was. I walked over. Pet her gave her a kiss and said good night. Normally I don’t do that. 3 am my daughter woke me up. She passed away in the middle of then night. It’s so hard to lose a pet.

Thank you for sharing your baby with us. This video helped me explain the process to my Daughter. We just lost our baby Coco on Friday. She had passed away in her sleep. It was devastating. It was hard to drive her to the cremation place to leave her there but she will soon be home like Jiggy is with you.

I lost my French Bulldog less than two days ago and his death was a surprise and shock as there is nothing wrong with him. The pain of his loss has shattered my heart and my family is hurt and it’s hard to function.

I’m so sorry for you! Sadly this happened to me too but my dad brought my dog that wasn’t excruciating pain in the morning. She was barking and everything and my dad took him to the vet and the vet put her down.
