what he says on 8:09 should apply to everyone. as a support main I pretend no one is going to heal me and it's fine since I heal passively. I know whenever I overextend and I see a LOT of dps in particular that likes to peek at low hp. simple advice is take a quick step back and take a quick look on your support and reposition.
There's so many times when I'm like "get out of the fucking point bro!" I try not to get too mad because I know it's difficult to back away when you're facing everyone trying to kill you, but man, the amount of times my tank/DPS would have survived if they just made a retreat

I'm watching this because i want to learn to play Genji so bad. I've only been playing overwatch for a couple of months. I slowly respect those who use genji as they need to have certain skills that are more of a situational awareness, certain judgements and his unique movement control. I appreciate this video as it lets me know what things are important and i will keep coming to those kinds of videos you make to slowly learn what your thought processes are like.

I totally agreed to you when you said don't rely on your teammates. I have played like 2 hours of overwatch(mostly as genji) but even when i was playing with my friends they were supporting my bestie eho has 400hrs rather than helping me. I never get any heals from them, no backup i just flank and kill and get the attention away then attack again. Maybe it's because i'm new to the game but i think relying on people is worse than 1v5(and also my aiming is not very good)

I was wondering, how do you sometimes get a kill WHILE pulling out the blade in your ult?
He shoots shuriken and quickly cancels into ult
Like immediately after clicking shuriken
It also helps that he is nano boosted
Right before you ult, you can slip a secondary fire and it animation cancels into blade

I really would like if you went a little bit more in depth as to what to do when they pick mei or sym, its so hard to find openings to kill them without being able to deflect anything

for sym, if she’s alone or in the backlines/diveable, as long as she doesn’t have any turrets that will hit her, you should honestly be able to kill sym for free, it just kinda comes down to aim. As long as you land ur dash u should kill her, and for mei, bait out her heal, and play vertically on her, mei has a fat hit box so as long as u play high ground/climb walls u shouldn’t have any trouble with mei

I haven't played competitive ever since before Echo was released. I have 200 hours on Genji and I always feel like I can never improve. In all honesty I'm SCARED to play competitive because the highest rank I ever had was silver for God's sake. I want to get good but I don't want to disappoint my teammates. Every time I lose a game I'm in this habit of always telling myself "you should've done better" or "switch off Genji, you're not helping". It always feels like it's my fault as a player. I don't know why and don't know what to do about it.
as a profesional bronze genji the aggresive bast deflect is for us not knowing any other way of killing him efficiently

I always go and watch necroses coaching videos to learn what I do and watch what my mistakes were But nothing I could think of except I’d be asking my healer to heal me at 15 health without being in a fight or my aim not being the best
In low elos lucio and Ana are lowkey tanks I swear. I’ve had games where the tank leaves and I’m stalling super out of position but the enemy team just can’t kill me, I contested payload after my team died for 10 seconds as Ana and managed to get a couple kills at the same time.
This bronze makes me look like a good player 💀
8:00 is so true if you want to climb I went from silver to plat dps last season on my main then this season on my alt cause I got banned I went from silver-diamond and my mentality was I am the best in this lobby I shouldnt be here and I gotta hard carry my team and its worked so far. My teams are literally always bad and I cant rely or trust them ever so I always run hanzo cree widow or ashe and just secure as many kills as possible, and if those dont work I pick the best counterpick I can. But even with the im the best mentality you still have to look at your own gameplay and think about your decision making and positioning and everything else.
