I am one of your fan here in the Philippines and a silent viewer.. I am happy for you coz God blessed you all the time.. I hope you will always find treasures in your journey.. Always keep safe and my family loves you and always support you
Just discovered you channel - enjoy these immensely!! Dom - I love your honesty and humor!! I'm glued each episode! Thank you for the wonderful videos!!
Thanks, I just LOVE your videos. I found you while watching Auction Professor and I'm so thankful for what I've learned for you especially what you look for in estate sales! Can you tell me what profit margin do you expect on the packages of twill and what did you pay for the unopened packs? I do come across a lot of sewing items at estate sales and would like to start looking for these types of things unopened in packages.
ou keep it moving and interesting with your wealth of knowledge. My Mom passed in 1989 and I inherited all of her sewing related bits and bobs because I was the only one of four daughters who sewed or did any needlework. That rusty old tin that came from Holland to Canada with her and my Dad in 1951 (6 years before my birth) is my biggest treasure. Fun vlog!
The Chinese clay figures are also referred to as mudman miniatures. You should get a better price using that in the description as mudman figures are highly collectable. Thanks for another awesome estate sale video!
Sorry I missed another live I'm still recovering from surgery and covid I got tested 3 day's after surgery and tested positive I was sleeping when I got your notification for the live the covid has kicked my butt I did just watch the video you had some great finds at the estate sale and awesome own the comic books sales I hope you have more good profit to be made from the estate finds thanks for sharing the video I will be watching for the next notification take care hope you have a blessed weekend
Oh boy Dom, I am more and more feeling like you are conjuring me up I am so proud of the wide variety of items that you are sourcing. The vintage Bias tape and piping and ricrac absolutely must be sewn on and are usually used for an edging on a blanket or other project. GREAT video, but where was the raid 🤔😉💕👩🌾
I'm glad you explained that this was an older video because I was thinking snow in June? You do pick up unusuak things that I would likely walk by. The Chinese figures for example. I also remember shopping at The museum Company. Didn't realize they were still around online.
You should have grabbed the crochet item that was in the top of the closet in the right side corner..I just recently stumbled across your videos and I enjoy watching for the estate sales because they are always interesting..I like to see what people like to personally collect ..it was even funny watching you climb around in that small upstairs where it was very hot and cramped 😂😂😆😆 but you got some awesome stuff at that one..Thank you for sharing
@@lisak1994 I know how to grade them, so I take care of that for all of my listings. If you are talking about an official grading company, then the gold standard is CGC.
The background music just makes me chuckle. Dont know why, just seeing you looking through books and fabric while a super hero themed type music is playing in the background. Oh and now the music changed up.
Marvel Superheroes #21 in certified 9.8 will unfortunately sell for Six Figures very soon. Big mistake selling it. ⚠️😳 We have personaly paid over $2,000.00 just for a cover in Near Mint condition...same Marvel Superheroes #21 but just the cover. Sold it for $3,7000.00 at a recent Pennsylvania market.
Eh, you do what you do based on what the market is at the time. I’m happy with the $900 profit and just move onto the next one. If you look big at ebay's last two years of sales, my $2500 sale of this book is the highest one on record. The next closest is $375 for a CGC 9.4. So I don't know why are you are saying the things you are because they sound completely off base. No mistake selling this at all.
The clown was pretty awesome, I see them often at my local thefts and hesitate, I love to pick up or treasure hunt for antique, vintage, mcm drinking glasses, and found my local thefts hadn’t yet realized they were treasures, but now they do…..ughhhhh, but I usually take my treasure hunt a little more of a challenge by only buying those on sale that day but if I find something of value I don’t wanna leave I might take that treasure home, if I find part of a treasure I may buy that, I bot part of a fairy lamp, very thick fluorescent Hobnail, glows under black light, it does have a crack but the glass is so thick that it’ll be ok, I’ll wash the dirt out of the crack, all is well,.I have silver to sell but being careful about that, I love Children’s books and have some amazing books and some great 1st editions, and I’m not listing on eBay, I may in the future but prefer fbmp, experimenting with not shipping but will travel to areas around me to meet buyer. I’m careful about this, I meet in very public places. I have a car that is very fuel efficient.thankfully. I myself, give my grandchildren books that will increase in value, one Gc gets Curious George books, the other gets Dr Seuss books and other items, like Jack in the box. I love estate sales/auctions online, but I usually go on the last day of estate sales, mostly due to my schedule and again I challenge myself to find items that will sell, or items for my children/Gc. Many times I put together items to sell, like vintage music albums with a few drinking glasses hopefully from that same period for particular holidays. Oooops, gotta go to a store, take care and thank u for your excellent videos and information…..be well
I had to laugh at your use for bias tape, etc as for people who don't know how to sew much! they are used more by the experienced sewer who goes the extra mile to construct a better made garment. but good suggestion to cover things up! creative thinking!
It would have been funny if you placed a “glass breaking” sound when the bias tape fell 🤣🤣 My favorite item is the little picture of the ladies in dresses!! But I loved the little monk, the other figurines, and that sun room in the house was sooo beautiful 😍
Want to learn more about vintage comics, if I ever see a collection selling really cheap I will get them for fun, hopefully find a rare one and maybe give some to my nephew.
I saw on your shelf an orange Fisher Price bear with an apple on its bib.... When my only child, my daughter, was a baby, that was her very first teddy bear. She died four years ago. When she died of cancer, I gave the bear to my two grandchildren, her children, (at that time, ages six and 12), thinking that they would love having it, especially because it was her very first toy/teddy bear. Well, not so much, really, but they accepted it from me. Had I known that it really wouldn't mean that much to them, I would have kept it. Anyway, I cannot ask for it back, of course, but when I saw yours, I couldn't believe it. So, is it something you might considert selling? If it's not too expensive, I would love to have it. It won't be Meaghans, but it will bring a smile to my face because of the wonderful memories of her infancy that I hold so dear....*I just happened upon you yesterday. I couldn't believe it when I saw her bear. I guess maybe, it was meant to be. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing that amazing story! Normally, I would definitely sell it to you but that is actually my childhood Teddy Bear. I named him Teddy Freddy. You can find others on eBay though! So sorry to hear about your daughter.
I think you are too cheap on the pillows...........I believe your pillows are silk and antique, and I would price at $149.95 - $219.95 for both....just my thoughts.
Not sure if you mentioned it, but regarding the two faced clown, doctors would use these to communicate with small children in order for the kids to explain how they were feeling. Sick or well.
I know this is probably going to sound rude and that is not my intention at all, but I am not a fan of the background music. I’d actually prefer to just hear what’s going on around you. The music choice just, for me, didn’t match. Super dramatic. And Estate Sales are awesome to watch but not dramatic like that music. I’m sorry. Just being honest. Maybe noone else feels this way at all but wondered if I might not be alone?? 😬
I’ve done YEARS of estate sale and treasure hunting videos with no music. Plenty to chose from there if you’d like but views on those videos began to go down and they were not engaging enough. So I switched to a system where I stopped talking so much, added some music, and put comps at the end. Those videos are doing much better and most seem to like the music. I’m a fan of dramatic cinematic scores and so you are going to see that spill over on my videos. It’s just my style. But there will always be someone who complains, no matter what I do. Remember, you are watching UA-cam…the point is to educate and entertain. This is my #2 most popular video of the last 10 so the music can’t be that bad to most. Thanks for watching.
I love the little pat in the box. Always makes me chuckle.
Lol. The famous Prime Time Double Tap
Make smaller lots of the wright's trim. Lot like things together like all bias tape together or all double bias tape together

Lol. The raid was in the beginning when everyone rushed through the door. Thanks for the added info on the sewing stuff!
Loved the items from the estate sale!!🤩 Comics is something I know nothing about, but learning 😬 Happy for your haul!!!!💪💥💥
Great! Check out my Comics playlist. I actually have a video all about learning comics for people who know nothing about them. Lol

Oh wow.
Congratulations on your comic book sale

Any particular reason you didn't choose to grade them?
