    Thanks for this video. It's nice to see Anglican religious communities making UA-cam videos. Not all of us who feel called to religious life are Roman Catholic! :-)

    This is great. I have heard of these sisters, but this is my first introduction to them. So glad to have them as part of the Church! I hope to share this. Thanks, Frank Logue for making this video.

    Refreshing to see Episcopal sisters, though it's interesting being women could become deacons or priests within the domination.

    I see nothing wrong with these people being nuns. I don't think they are married. I think widowed or
    Divorced, but if they are allowed to be married, that 's fine, there is no reason for argument, in my
    Eyes, we are equals as people, what we are inside is what matters, and their lives are simple, nuns are too busy to
    Enjoy luxuries. God bless these women for what they do for us!

      Why would anyone want to be celibate and be a nun? Look what happened to the Episcopal Church in the 1970s. Women priests, turned around altars and a messed up modern language liturgy

    A true relationship with God is not based on rituals or or "working" your way into Heaven. Jesus died for our sins already. We are to go forth and preach the Word of God to the World . I need to know when they start spreading the prayer of Salvation to save souls. When does that come into play? This is our main goal as apart of Christ

    • @Saffron-sugar
      @Saffron-sugar 6 років тому +2

      @Jupiter Stars . I agree, a true relationship with God is not about rituals. Rituals are for community living. They are a way of Spiritual meditation.
      If you, maybe, give it another listen? These Sisters go forth and preach the Word of God to the World daily, these are not the Cloistered type of Nuns. They travel, they are involved in missions and preaching. They have regular retreats (that's when people come to stay with them for study and prayer). This is what much of the "work" is. Many Nuns also spread Christs love in practical ways. Some run children's homes and also work as priests (Yes, priests), Nurses, counselors etc, often on a voluntary basis. They are active in preaching. The difference is, when they are at home, they are often at prayer, in chapel. I have stayed with them as one of their many guests. Trust me, there are plenty of nonsense "christians" out there. IMHO, If I were you (or me for that matter), I would not be so fast to look down my nose and make assumptions about these Sisters.
      "Do not Judge, or you also will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the same measure you use ......You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye" - Matthew 7:1-6

      Salvation is a gift received as well as a process of continual renewal
      God continuing the work he began in us. The process lasts a lifetime.....
      Besides faith leads to hope and charity. The three work together.

    The issue is, it’s apart of the apostate Episcopal “church”. What makes them apostate is their liberalism in theology and doctrine, including their views on sexuality. There’s no issue with women in the pastorate, however when they act like the women of Corinth or Ephesus (the women Paul forbade being in ministry), they should be denied ministry roles. There are men like this too who shouldn’t have ever been in ministry (Gene Robinson, and John Shelby Spong for example).

      +Jerry Uallera Anglican/Episcopalian Religious Orders are *not* a parody of Catholic Religious Orders just like the Anglican/Episcopalian Church is *not* a parody of the Catholic Church. Read the Apostolic Fathers and the Church Fathers and you will see that monks and nuns have existed from Apostolic times and from early Catholic times.
