WALKING AND WILD CAMPING ON THE MEDWAY VALLEY WALK | PART 2 OF 3

- Welcome back to The Medway Valley Walk, a 30 mile long distance route following the River Medway across Kent. Part 2 of 3, Yalding to Snodland, this being our longest day of walking out of the 3 days. I was joined by my mate Luke (The Real Travelling Amigos) and we used our OEX Phoxx 1 V2 tents. We passed through Maidstone, the county town of Kent on this section, and saw loads more old stone bridges. We found an old disused church and even a lovely riverside pub.
Hope you enjoy joining us on this cracking little adventure, thanks for watching and supporting the channel. If you haven't subscribed already, it'd be awesome if you could, it helps get the channel promoted more on here and gets me closer to that elusive 10000 subs milestone! A like of the video and a nice comment wouldn't go amiss either! Enough of that. Cheers!

hi Tom lovely video and what a fantastic way to break up your walk by going on the boat and the added bonus of a nice drink along the way look forward to part 3 stay safe and will see you on the next one 😀
I so do love a cracking adventure too ⛵
Getting the boat was an added experience. 👍
💯👍🙏
Another very enjoyable series Tom. What I particularly like about your videos is that you take the time to stop and look at interesting things along the way.
Thank you very much appreciate it. Yeah what's the point in doing a walk if you aren't going to absorb what's around you?
Brilliant video, again. Walking through my neck of the woods. History, fun and the Allington belle too… watch this video!!!
Nice bit of potted history. It’s good that you cover these places.👍🏻👍🏻
🙏👍
Ups and downs but it looked like a good little trip gentleman 👍🏻👍🏻
That scene with the tents and the environment agency sign was pure "Bottom" if anyone gets the reference 😅😅
Great video, though, Tom
Cheers
Ben

🤣🙏👍
Great video mate. Love the history. Cheers
🙏👍
Great video. Love everything you film. I did my second Sussex river walk and day camp today inspired from your videos.
👍🙏
Nice one Tom, thanks
Nice to see Allington, that's the name of my Narrowboat and it was moored at Allington marina on the Medway were it lived for 17yrs before being craned out the water at the boat yard under the M2 put on a low loader and driven up to Warwickshire. It's now up on the Oxford canal with me the new owner👍 Can't wait for part 3, I want to do that walk myself to see where my boat lived😁
Great video mate, the boat trip was a nice touch! 👌
Great little video mate. Love to see the Phoxx 1 in play. Hope you feel better!
Those Army mint hot chocolates are an acquired taste!
Yes and I have acquired that taste! 🤣
Great video. Really enjoying the blend of hiking talks and history. All the best.
That's my jam👍 thanks!
Great video mate! I grew up in East Peckham and have been walking up and down the Medway all my life. Really enjoyable to see someone traversing through places I know so well and filming it so beautifully!
🙏👍
Another top post Tom you and Luke are a good dynamic! Now I know that you both have channels of your own but more of the interaction between you would be fun?! Bless the pair of you l love your channels,... never stop walking and talking!
The videos would end up being stupidly long! I try and add bits in where I can. Cheers. 👍
Nice one boys! I especially like the matching 'his and his' tents 😁.. Not sure about that turd outside the pillbox 💩 ATB Hambo
Definitely human mate.
Great scenery.
Thanks again Tom.
Loved hearing about the history of the area.
That old disused road yourself and Luke were walking on near the township of Snodland, I was think my Mum and Could have probably driven down it back in the 40's and, or 50's Mum being a Kent girl.
Cheers mate and yeah it's quite possible. I'll have a look online and see when it was last used for traffic. 👍
You touched lucky with that boat trip Tom 👌. You’ve hiked thousands of miles on You Tube, so I reckon you’ve earned the right to a boat trip now and again! And not all campsites are going to be perfect either… one of my favourite vids of yours is where you had to do an overnight in a bird hide with ‘sweetcheeks’ Mark 😁… 👍
💯👌🙏👍 Thanks I agree. I watched that one the other day. Mark is always funny and good company.
UA-cam is shit sometimes. This is the first time your video has come up, after you loaded it, in a long while Tom!👍🏻👍🏻
Wish I knew you were doing this , could of done a y by lol
You're walking very well, and at a good pace. What is your pack weight?
I have no idea mate, I haven't weighed mine for ages. I try not to overpack but it's easily done. Cheers.
26 minutes the area you're showing is called a river delta.
👍🙏
mate you missed out on loads of bins lol.
Another great video, but I am disappointed in your
Laziness lol 😂
🤣🤣
