Brilliant! I had no idea I could get to Leggers .......We have done the canal walk via Healey Road. As it happens on the way back to Healey Road from Marina we had noticed where the path split (where you could take another path) but because we didn’t know where it would take us we never took that route. So Ivor! You’ve done the leg work again for us and shown us a route we didn’t know about and will definitely be doing....Thank you!
That tunnel looks fab. I've walked the top part of the Greenway but never continued right down to the marina. Another one for my to do list for the summer.
This is a brilliant walk. Make it into a circular by parking at Healey Road, Ossett, then up to Runtlings Lane via Kerry Foods to access the Greenway.. On reaching Saville Town follow Calder and Hebble Navigation as far as Healey Road. (Ilike circular walks!)
Hi. I was wondering if you could make a list of fabulous wheelchair accessible walks? We prefer woodland walks v riversides, but need good paths & not too hilly. Newmillerdam is our favourite regular walk for example, but it would be lovely to have a change. Thanks
You’re welcome. The first section of this walk is ideal for wheelchair users as it is smooth tarmac. The Weir is spectacular. ua-cam.com/video/-ESeJkd4FB4/v-deo.html

You're very welcome, Joyce. You can have a drink for me at Leggers when it reopens.
Love that walk especially in the summer time
Yeah, I bet it's lovely when the trees are green and the flowers are in full bloom. 😊
I remember the tunnel being blocked off when I was a kid, we used to cycle down from Ossett and climb into the tunnel! Happy days.
Sounds like you had a lot of fun, Jim. Happy days indeed. 😊

Go for it!
Love the tunnel ❤️
Me too!
This looks like a nice walk Ivor. It’s good for this weather to avoid the mud. Enjoying the uplifting music too.
Yes, Jan. It certainly makes a change from slipping and sliding through endless mud.

That sounds wonderful 😊
Thank you. I'm looking for local canal pathway routes, so your channel is perfect
You're very welcome 😊
Enjoyed watching that, never knew you could walk that way to Dewsbury
You're very welcome 😊
Have you covered coxley Woods in middlestown?
Yes, he has. You should subscribe to his channel 👍

East Ardsley reservoir is very flat. Ivor has a video on his channel 👍
@@geofflloyd7232 I have been there before, but many many years ago & before we had our son, who requires a wheelchair. Thank you

Sure, that's a great idea. 😊
@@TheYorkshireVlogger that would be amazing if you could. Thank you
Cycled this route a few times. It can get very busy later in the day.
That's why I like to film first thing in the morning.
One of my regular walks :-)
Nice one!
Always nice to see dogs kept on leads
Nice good 👍
Thank you!
Where dose the Dewsbury end come out at
To be honest, if I go for a walk it's for the peace and quiet, to enjoy the ambient sounds of nature rather than the cacophony of domestic life.
I do, when I'm not filming my vlogs. You can't beat the sounds of nature and the feeling of oneness with your senses.
Wish I could do it 7 minutes
It was easier going downhill than up.
