yooooo that was sick! I used to love the JAR once I got it on bots, but I don't like how it glances off the heavy armor, and I use a controller so I have decent aim but its hard to be precise under pressure, but it seems to still be pretty good as long as you have the right strategies and make your shots count. good playthrough man
@@smz257 thanks a bunch! The stagger on it is really good against the heavy devastators cause it opens up their shield which is pretty nice. Also stops berserkers in their tracks with each shot.
yo I just watched it and I think it was the JAR Dominator round ricochet off the heavy armour! 😮looks like it got your leg too, I wonder if it would have taken you out on the body
I agree that its not great for hitting Gunships, but I would hope one of your four stratagem slots, or one of your yhree teammates, would bring something better to use against them. Personally, I love bringing the railgun along, and its about the best weapon you could ask for as far as theuster destruction goes. The Heavy Machinegun is another very solid option in terms of support weapons, or you could maybe use one of the Heavy emplacements. But if you absolutely must use the Doninator for anti-air use, I'd recommend you focus on zeroing on the enemy pattern-sway, and pinpoint the moment when the gunship appears to be still.
@Helldiver_Clips What do you mean "cheating"? I said Gyroscope, not auto-aim. Gyro aiming is still you doing the input, which is kind of similar to using a mouse.
@@Helldiver_Clips I play on console too, and I would strongly recommend you try these two things: For using the map/placing pins, try using the track pad on the controller to move the cursor around. It can be a bit unwieldy to change your grip on the controller on the go, but if you can get used to it, as I did, it can be very useful, more than a Joystick, in my opinion. You basically get the precision of a track pad. Also, you have the added benefit of being able to set your left joystick to walk, and your right joystick to look, even while the map is open, because you can move the cursor using the track pad in the center. If I have nothing to shoot at, I'll just run around with the map open, which isn't really possible if your right stick is bound to moving the map cursor. Second, go to the settings and enable gyroscopic aiming when you aim your gun. This uses the gyroscope, or tilt, sensor in the controller, and can be very useful for fine or snappy adjustments of your point of aim, while you can still use the joystick for looking around and getting the crosshairs near your target. I wouldn't have ever considered getting the game on PS5 if it weren't for this feature, because I suck big time when it comes to aiming with a joystick; luckily for me, I learned of the wonders of Gyroscope inputs thanks to Breath of the Wild on Switch, and I can tell you that I've surprised myself by how intuitive and fast you can aim with that thing. You can always turn the gyro aim off if it proves too annoying or disorienting, but I believe it's a huge missed opportunity not giving it a shot. I firmly believe that joystick + gyro inputs are better for aiming than a mouse. TL.DR: From a console player to another, look into using the gyroscope and track pad as inputs for aiming and moving the minimal cursor, respectively. PD: sorry if this is a duplicate post.

@@alexmoliviatis6666 I feel like the JAR-5’s weakness is multiple smaller enemies up close. So that’s why I brought it. Also just wanted to try something a little different.
@Tyneras i feel the eruptor with no splash damage and heavy pen would be great. It would be slow and cumbersome so the amr rifle wouldn't be outclassed and it would be fairly balanced. Then I would bring the smaller machine gun and its light pen more often.
Been binge watching you heavy playing against bots. Keep uploading bro

The Dominator is very good. The only problem I have slow projectile makes it very hard to hit flying gunships.
@@RomanGuro yes. As well as enemies moving across the screen. With some practice it’s not as bad but still a little annoying.

28:50 wait did one of your shots bounce directly back and hit you?
How did u call the guard dog back into the mount?
Press 5 (backpack button)
Or D-pad Down (backpack button)
nice vid
interesting that some of their bullets ricochet on your backpack, essentially is like having a small shield on your back
