Great to know. I am still cataloging my ps1 games, but think I will have around 3,500 once finished, a lot of which will need fixing. So I may be in touch to do them in batches!
Did the person really send them in a padded envelope?? Will you be sending them back in a padded envelope and bundled together in a plastic wrapper?? At least the disc wallet protects them a little.
No I sent them all individually sleeved, bubble wrapped in a box. I suppose when sending to me the discs are already scratched so a few extra scratches don't matter 😅
With your prices… when you say sold for £14 are they listed at £14 or £13.99? would you say there is much of a difference, it’s only a penny but 99 has the psychological edge hence why they started using it lol
Ive always thought that this is not good for gamers. As ppl will sell them on and not mention they are resurfaced. As a collector i like games ppl have taken care of and would never knowinly buy one. This is just greedy ppl trying to take money not telling customers they are sub par quality games
Different strokes for different blokes. Me personally as long as it's done to a really good quality then I don't see a problem. If you can see swirls then maybe not as good but this doesn't as shown
@@disc_traders it isn't really a preference as you claim. It's misleading. The disc looks pleasing but the disc isn't the same quality. It will be more prone to scratch. Will not last as long as a game that hasn't been resurfaced and will be more prone to disc rot. Thinking of this I think I will be contacting eBay as I think you should at least have to put in the description that your discs have been resurfaced. As I think you should tell ppl they are receiving a poorer quality.
How do you sell your cleaning service? Are you somehow doing it on eBay?
Seems super interesting! Thanks :)
Via eBay as a service or via my Instagram at a reduced rate

That disk cleaner surely has been the best business idea!
If you like buying sub par games ppl never looked after for profit
Can it clean gamecube games OK?
Yup perfectly fine like the other. Requires an adapter for the disc but I have a few of them
@@disc_traders how much is it for just 1 game to be done ?
@@bulldogdynastyuk4694 £2 + return postage

Yeah I price at 13.99 etc but say 14 just as it's quicker to say 😅

Surely making games that don’t work into games that are playable agin is a good thing, it rather have a resurfaced game over a scratched up one….
