    Great video, thank you! Tiiiny corrections:
    1. Skool will absolutely do the same type of content moderation that FB does and shut down inappropriate communities.
    2. Divorce takes years and sometime decades so does become a perpetual problem.

    • @thelostsecret13
      @thelostsecret13 11 місяців тому +1

      I think you're incorrect about your second point. I've been divorced 3 times. After the year or longer process, it's OVER. I have a child with #2. Won full custody. Again, no "perpetual problem" there and I'm kind of an "expert" when it comes to divorce...unfortunately. LOL!

    Wow, what an awesome and thorough training, thank you! You are a master of marketing, sales, and copywriting, at the level of Russell Brunson, Frank Kern, & Dan Kennedy. Your understanding of human psychology is on par with Robert Cialdini (author of Influence & Persuasion) & Thomas Stanley (The Millionaire Next Door).
    You've created an amazing and powerful funnel that gets mega-results, and your community is engaged beyond belief. I will very likely be signing up for the free trial soon using your link, but my 86 year old father is having serious health problems and is in the hospital and it's one complication after another.
    Thanks again for creating and sharing your awesome tutorial, and I'll be following you closely because "Success Leaves Clues," and you just freely shared nearly the whole enchilada. LOL

      Yes, I just discovered you because I'm in the early stages of research on how the whole Skool business works and how to build communities.
      I am an experienced CPA marketer, affiliate marketer, website builder, email marketer, etc., and I'm also a successful high-ticket enroller/closer.@@DanHenry
      Your tutorial was exactly what I was looking for. I really wanted to know what an effective marketing funnel would look like from top to bottom, how to attract followers for my community, and you answered all that in one video.
      I have a question for you. Do you not have a free community and thus, I assume you don't believe that's a good strategy?
      I've also been going through Max Perzon's seven hour masterclass, and he stressed the importance of having a free community, sharing so much free value with them, so they grow to like him, trust him, and believe in him enough to upgrade to his Premium subscription,.

    • @MikeGowans

      You can upsell them using a simple Stripe payment link and a explainer video. When you upsell (assuming your selling your advice) you'll give them more of you. Either more done-for-you or done-with-you and help them get to where they're going faster, easier, and with more fun. People pay for speed and convenience. Hope that helps 🙂

Or you could pivot and position the group for contractors who are looking to grow their businesses as they will always have problems that they need solved and will be able to benefit from the collective experience of the group members.

      Did you know Frank Kern is also on Skool? Skool is free when you get 3 other people to use it as well. When you focus on helping people get results and keep it simple the price is irrelevant. You don't have to level anything up except for the perspective you're using to justify the platform :-)

    Mr. Dan. Relatively new business owner here (2 years in as video editing agency). If you were to start a community from scratch with my skillset (video editor), would you target video editors or would you focus on a community to help new entrepreneurs that are a few steps behind me?

    • @DanHenry
      @DanHenry  11 місяців тому

      Well, without having an extensive conversation with you, I would probably say find a perpetual problem and solve that. Meaning, video editors are always looking for new ways to get clients, to edit video better, to get more subscribers on, UA-cam, Etc. So figure out what type of video editor you want to help, what continuous problem they have, and what your best equipped to help solve, mix that all together, and we should have yourself an idea!

      @@DanHenry Makes sense. I guess I was concerned with the total addressable market. Video editing is my expertise and I'm confident I can identify a perpetual problem there and provide solution(s). On the other hand, I felt the market for early entrepreneurs was larger (and potentially more profitable since "entrepreneurs" seem more prone to invest in themselves compared to video editors) . Thanks for your quick response.

      @@DanHenry Last question and I'll leave you alone and join your GetClients community - lol. Hypothetically, if you were an expert video editor AND a competent business owner with $250k annual revenue and 60% margins - would you (A) start a community around teaching fellow editors how to edit better and grow their editing business OR would you (B) start a community around teaching newer entrepreneurs in general how to hit their first $100k-$200k annually using principles and lessons learned from growing my own business to $250k/yr?
