Incredible... I used to do this a lot in class when I was bored or distracted. You've given me a whole new perspective on this habit. Thank you so much for taking your time and posting this.
Wow 🤯 This is a very interesting approach to the problem of generating shapes and volumes. I was mind-blown by this refreshing video. It's kind of the "automatic writing" some writers use to generate ideas which they then can further develop, but taken to graphic, industrial and architectural design. It's an excellent idea 😃👍
@@productdesignermaker hi! It's a technique used first by the surrealists such as Andrè Breton if I remember it right. The objective was first and foremost to achieve the writing without the boundaries of conscious self-censorship. Then this resource was used by other writers as a way to settle ideas that could have a further development into a tale or even the germ for a novel. It's pretty much the same way you use random lines and then get to more concrete ideas of a shape or a volume. It's amazing that a creative method can be adapted to such different disciplines.
So glad found you. I am bored and doodling -now I can see sense in doing that.. Thank you so much. Not too old to learn - won't tell you my age but I am old foggy for sure
Very interesting. It reminded me a series of sketches i produced one night, when i was a fresh man with a lot of wannabe attitude and no skills at all. I did this exercise but with a ruler and a pencil. I still save, after twenty years, that sheet of paper cause those sketches are creatively Incredible. They are perfect hidden architectures. Thanks a lot.
Giuseppe Nativo thank you. Great to hear your story. I’ve kept a lot of work over the years too. Always good to look back at the journey from time to time!
