I’m glad he’s doing this movie and I’m a massive mcu / Christian bale fan, but just from my opinion I’m not exactly a fan of the human-like route they went with versus the comic form which is more menacing IMO. Who knows though, I mean bale is one of the best actors so his acting could totally make me forget about the looo as a whole and be ok with it.

In case anyone doesn't know about Gorr, once he himself said to thor that he tortured the god of torture and after spending an evening he told Gorr where his children are hiding. Idk how they're gonna treat him in this movie but Gorr is brutal AF
Keeping Christian's facial features intact allows for him to really act and emote, and he would literally look like Voldemort if they did the comic face, lol.

Gorr is a very sorrowful and bitter character, he lost his family and planet and the gods his people prayed to didn't help. I'm afraid I'd prefer to see the face of character like that. I don't have hangups about such minor things. The MCU is it's own universe while still adapting the source material and they've been doing a damn good job with the aesthetic and costuming in Phase 4.
Just from the look of Gorr and considering how in the comics he once killed an entire alien planets pantheon of gods and left some of them cut to pieces and even hanging on hooks like slabs of meat (hence his name The God Butcher) it’s possible Gorr will be even more terrifying and formidable than Scarlet Witch, and Hela combined. Also after Zeus flicked too hard I would’ve said “Wow, so you have another hammer!”😂😂😂 Also Jaby you are COMPLETELY WRONG about Chris Hemsworth hating taking off his shirt all the time, in fact when Kenneth Branaugh (who directed him in the first Thor) asked if it was alright if Chris would take his shirt of for one scene and Chris said “Are you fucking kidding me, I’ve been training for almost a year to get this body, of course I’m gonna take my shirt off”.🤣

Probably one of the reasons why actors like Chris Evans and Hugh Jackman won't want to reprise their roles for future movies is because of the amount of training it takes to get into shape.

Thor: Ragnarok is my personal favorite MCU film. Taika Waititi brings this joy on set that you can see in his films. I believe Love And Thunder will end up right next to Ragnarok. Taika directs my type of MCU movies filled with comedy.
The way that Gorr reaches down for his sword is creepily elegant, I adore it. I literally flinched when we got the first full look, that’s a good thing.
Chris Hemsworth has stated he wants to play Thor for as long as Marvel will let him, so I doubt he would be killed off. However, there is always a chance. I just think it’s a small one

And in moonknight the Hippo Goddess(Sorry to forget the name) says there are different planes of existence and different versions of Hell and heaven according to mthologies. I haven't read much comics but when I saw eternals they mentioned a Eternal will emerge from the core of the planet. I was thinking "not even a single living being survived? any living being?" glass I found the answer as Gorr, the god butcher who is survivor of that incident.
