Man that Digitech talker sounds sooo good ! I am looking for one to buy but the prices are going crazy. The last one to be sold on reverb went over 1000$
the only criticism i have is the fact some of the vowels are mispronounced from the original and the low part of the vocals is more of a dry saw wave and less harmonies on the patch. any way the “much in common” part should be less like “match in comman” (an “uh” sound instead of an “ah” sound) also they say “human” like “humin” during the main part but the ending was golden
For the low part I have used a single sawwave, unlike all the rest that is a double octave sawwave, but maybe the distortion had changed the sound a little. For the pronounciaction I know that maybe it could have been a little too much like "match in comman" , but that is caused by the fact that i tried to avoid the very common closed vowel sound that most of people do when they cover this song, and it sounds too different for the original. A bit like I don't like when in covers of HBFS they pronounce Harder and Stronger with a too correct pronounciation, in that song the evident french accent it's almost necessary, just my opinion tho.

I don't think it's the same synth daft punk use, the synth it's pretty simple it's a normal sawtooth with no effect, the secret is the vocoder and the distortion after the recording

Actually no, it was an error of my computer, the recording volume is too high I don't know how to fix it, but in this case was perfect so I just turned the volume a little bit on the vocoder and used some filters to attenuate the high frequencies. In your case you can use a good distortion pedal, but I don't know any, or turn the volume of the recording device a bit too loud, then you'll need resonant and low pass filters for a better sound

it's just a normal sawtooth in the lower "mmm we are human" and it is for the rest a double sawtooth then i added a distortion after
