The scenes with Arya and Tywin are some of my favorite scenes, especially as they are not in the books.
Btw.: This season a different actor plays the Mountain.

Tywin and Arya is probably my fav combo in S2. You can tell Maisie Williams (Arya) learned a lot from working with Charles Dance (Tywin)

Excellent reaction and seeing the nuances of some of the story. Tyrion has really learned to play the Game of Thrones and understands how to use the power he has. Will other players like Varys and Littlefinger ally with Cersei to neutralize him?
Tywin has never met Arya, who was born in the North, far from Tywin's home of Casterly Rock and was in Kings Landing when Tywin was elsewhere.
Joffrey is obviously a psychotic sadist, as shown by his treatment of Mycha, Sansa, the "gifts" from Tyrion, and the bard. Casting back to Cersei's speech to him as she treated his wounds from the direwolf, you can see where much of his narcistic brutality comes from.
I worry about the self-importance Daenarys proclaims all too often. The constant threats to those unwilling to do what she demands could alienate potential allies given her total lack of military or political strength, regardless of three baby dragons.
For me, the contest for sleaziest character is a close race between Littlefinger, Thorne, Lady Arryn, and Pycelle.

THE MAGIC arrived the moment the dragons were born
They are not winged dinosaurs! Remember that. They are the literal fire elementals. As magical as magic itself.
Magic, as Old Nan's stories and Maester Luwin told to Bran might have existed long, long ago.....We the viewers and/or readers know that with the birth of magical dragons the wolf/dragon dreams are real and magic is slowly growing again.......Except that D&D really found it all too hard. Inserting "Dragon dreams" into Danaerys' brutal walk to Qarth was too mystical, instead just make her an entitled brat at the gates of Qarth instead of the near to broken, humble, gracious and thankful young leader she was in the book.

If only, only Tyrion wasn't just as ruthless as all the others who play the Game of Thrones.

@@cyrilmeynier5688 Oh, Tyrion has children? I didn't know that, nor did I know he ever came across Arya as he wasn't ever anywhere near Arya at any time. I DID like the show changing Arya's story in Harrenhal and the Tywin exchanges even though that didn't happen in the books, Tywin wasn't even there and Arya really suffered badly.

The bald man with the jewels in his nose answered in the Valyrian of the Free Cities, "I am Xaro Xhoan Daxos of the Thirteen, a merchant prince of Qarth."
The woman in the lacquered wooden mask said in the Common Tongue of the Seven Kingdoms, "I am Quaithe of the Shadow. We come seeking dragons."
"Seek no more, " Daenerys Targaryen told them. "You have found them."
The fact that her coming is literally celebrated in the book is so…💀.

There are quite a bit of changes made to Daenerys story in s2 that differs greatly from her ACOK storyline. I really don’t care for them killing off her bloodriders, her handmaidens or leaving some alive when they were dead already(Doreah) to create new plot lines. I didn’t care for the characterization of Dany, making her out to be an entitled brat. But the biggest crime in this season is yet to come (her house of the undying visions🥴). I know at this point I’m complaining for the sake of complaining but I just can’t help it.💀
