Tour of Encinitas Skate Plaza

The plaza part is HUGE. So much space. A bit of cross traffic, but enough flow, and enough to skate for all levels. Lot's of use of colored concrete, etc.
The bowl here is excellent, but you'd better be on your A gamed and very awake, this ain't no kiddie bowl. The entrance to the bowl is totally separate from the plaza. Not sure why they did that of if that's a good or bad thing.
In any case, the park is free, no pad nannies and in San Diego county with some of the best weather around.

It's decent but doesn't look like it was built by a skater all that much when you look at the details. Lots of the obstacles don't have good roll-up and there are so many manual pads but not many ramps like kickers and pyramids, banks, etc.

Yeah, its more of a street skatepark, with more ledges and stair sets, than like big quarters pipes and ramps
