Your going to love it! I've had a one for 3 years now. I'm in California cleaning up fire damaged trees on steep slopes. We work it hard! It goes anywhere. It really hauls 600lb. My machine is marketed by Yard Max, Briggs and Stratton motor, different bed. The Yard Max has hydraulic dump bed . Orec also makes one, other companies also.
Ive had mine for a few years and I've had issues with the clutch handle bending/breaking twice so far. The handle is made from stamped steel and eventually gives out after awhile due to such a strain on it and weak design. Princess Auto can order you a new one but supply of them can be spotty so my advice is order one (or two) before you need them, because mine was down for mths while I awaited a new one. But they are cheap ,both in cost and design, and I just replaced it again. They are also tricky to replace due to a fairly complicated design that has fastened to the machine handlebar by bolts that run up though the left side brake control bracket on the underside of the handlebar.
Rather than scoop out by hand what won;t dump out by itself, I simply grab the dump handle and work it back and forth to kinda bounce the remains out while it's in full dump position. That works great for me. I also onder about using the forward inertia of the machine as it comes to a full stop to help flip the dump forward? But there would need to be a cable and lever hooked up to the dump release mechanism that would have to be up on the handle bar to enable this.
Use a eighth to a 16th inch 4x4 piece of angle iron going across that will secure the bottom. If you have an extra 4x4 angle piece you can make a new piece that will attach to the angle iron where your rotation of your shock that connects to the bottom of your bucket. That will solve your problem. Just a little suggestion wouldn't take much to fix it with a good weld
Thanks for posting this. I picked one up in Winnipeg yesterday. I just unboxed it today. Your idea to change to an electric start engine is interesting. If you do that have you considered changing out the gas assist shock for an electric linear actuator?
I was thinking about buying this last week, glad i did not. That dumping issue and not dumping completely is a no go. Toi bad because the rest of the machine looks nice.
I’ve got about 20 hours on it I’ll do a update video on it soon. So the dumping issue is kind of annoying but I dump and back up and the vibration from the motor helps . You usually have a bit left so I just use my hands and it empties .
You mention the machinenis a little light in the back end. Ive seen videos of similar machines that have steps behind the motor so the operator can stand/ride. Do you think this machine could handle a rider standing behind the motor if some steps were fabricated?
I step on the back or kneel on the back plate when it has a load but if it’s empty no she cat walks. I’m gonna do the engine swap and add the battery to rear which will add 20-25 lbs to rear might help I’ll do a video
I never got the electric start motor unit yet but this summer I will be using it lots . I’ve got maybe 5 hours on it works good but the vibrations will own you if you have hands that don’t like to shake. I’m going to see if I can put the motor on a plate of some sort .
Yeah, that weld on that dump is concerning. I was thinking I could use the dump bucket in the dump position to load up a tree ball. Basically position the ball onto the lip of the bucket, and then pull the dump bed down lifting the ball up. Not sure if it is built robust enough to handle the torque without bending and breaking. The 1100lb model with hydraulic lift seems a bit more robust, and the bucket seems higher off the ground, so it would probably fully dump, but don’t know if that one would lift the tree ball either. The tree balls are probably around 150-300lbs.
@@TheRealCheckmate princess auto has now a newer 2021 power sweeper 32'' with 5 forward and 2 reverse wich bit faster then the the other one with 1 forward and 1 reverse and 24''
that looks pretty sweet but i got a few things from princess auto that failed in no time wont get anything from there with a motor on it got the trenching saw machine thing pos teeth breaking off first trench and was the worst to control move and load returned it and got to honda lawnmowers had one of them motors fail in a month and it was a honda so i wont trust anything from there again and some motors before that i learned my lesson

No need when it’s in 3rd and your work your have to walk pretty quick and steering gets touchy

Was there oil in gear box ? If not what pill did you put in. And what oil in the motor?
The motor did not have oil. The gear box had oil tho

@@IMRgarage try putting pieces of rubber between the base of the motor and the frame. They will dramatically cut down the vibration.
