Wow, hitting on the boss I see....
Still love true ending...you can see her grew up....I wish there would be a Tales of Xillia 3
it seems muzet Elize and gaius are the most common partners, they're the ones I always use
+PrimalLIQUID true enough, you have ludgers op forms to add to that too..
I've seen people saying they like this ending better than the true ending, and even say this ending should have been the true ending. But in my opinion this ending is just depressing. It's not happy at all until after the credits. Not even origin and Chronos are happy about the decision here. Honestly (though the true ending was depressing too) it felt more right in the true ending vs the good ending.
***** It is somewhat similar to what happened to Victor, though i'm not sure if he would go insane in this ending since his brother and bisley (who i still think was actually his father) is already dead.
one thing I didn't like about this ending was that Elle died. even though she was a different version of his daughter, it was still his daughter whom he grew to love. In various games, anime, and even real life fathers would do anything they can to protect their child. I guess the thing about this that bothered me was that Ludger didn't do much to save his daughter from death even though he was willing to throw his life away to protect her, even before finding out that Elle was his daughter.
I was a bit happy that they showed the women who would eventually become Elle's mom, but there's no way that the Elle that Ludger traveled with throughout the game will ever come back. Even if she is born in a different dimension she will be a different person. (like how a lot of people were in different dimensions)
***** ik what you mean and I understand that. I was not trying to convince you to change your opinion, I was just expressing some of why i do not like this ending that much.
In the end..... Tales of Xillia 2 was a DEPRESSING game to go through. my best friend and I went through this whole game start to end and it was very hard for us to go through this.
Funny how the semi-good ending and the bad ending are a deep fist-f***** compared to the true ending for ludger (In my opinion of course)
