I love my 20 degree sliders. Such a more sleek look, yet aggressive look
For sure!
Same here bro, 20° RCIs, so sleek and aggressive
They make the best looking rock sliders, big advocate for form AND function.
Damn u Jon… are you a mind reader?… I just started looking for rock sliders and asked myself what the varying degrees would look like 😂
Rock sliders are great. Best way to get some stuff on a roof is carry a little aluminum work bench with ya. Lol sure its an extra item. But for th stuff i haul i kinda need to move around and tie it down good. The 20° are where its at. Super clean and extra bit of clearance
Just installed Cali Raised trail which is a 2O degree slider. I still wanted a step so I opted for the kick out in the rear, which makes it a breeze to climb up to the roof rack and get anything down. Plus, they look great, and sit tighter to the body which was important for me.
Amazing!!!
R4T makes a 10 degree option.
at first i wasnt happy with my 4runner rock sliders because it had no steps. i got used to the height and all is well now.
Went with the RSG 15 degree sliders on my 4runner. Love them.
Now waiting on my OME lift and SPC control arms. Should be done with this build just before Toyota announces the release of the new, and more rugged, Land Cruiser...

I have 20 and they’re great 👍🏼
I went with a set of running boards.
Both look good.
0⁰ seems to better protect from door dings. Both give you great ground clearance, especially compared to the factory predator side steps. Either are a must if you're at stock height. I have 0⁰ sliders. They have already saved me from door dings.
exactly why i want em
Nice! I’m gonna order them.
If that kickout bends from use, do you see it impeding the back door from opening? Or are Westcotts rock sliders that sturdy
I went with the 20° rock sliders for my 4runner. I didn't have an option for a top plate at the time though.
Nice sliders.
Do you have the link for these ?
What rims do you have in your Tacoma those are sweet! And what size tires! Thanks so much
“If you open the door” you could just step on the floorboard. Or step on the tire.
Hey Jon. I'm battling the 0 vs 20 degree issue. Is the non kickout part of the 20 degree also usable at all as a step? Thank you so much for this awesome comparison
Did you ever get an answer?
A little late to the party, but may I have the link for that 0 degree slider?
Team voodoo bloo! 👹
0 degree linex'd on my tundra ❤
What rack is that?
Do both help with door dings? The 0 degree?
they do but it also depends on the car next to you. 0 degree would help more.
0 degree would be 20 degrees the moment a rock bashes it🤣
I heard 20 degree would be 40 degree the moment a rock bashes it, then I heard the door is unopenable.
I don't know how you keep them both so chip free. I wish Toyota touch up paint matched
Yea it’s not the best right?
10 degrees?
What rack you running on the 4Runner?
Westcott
20 degree is more off-road capable for sure. But both look good.
For sure
0 degrees were easier to justify to my wife, since they're "steps" she can use too ;)
Do you have wheel spacers ? How many inches
No I don't
Dclb?
Yes
What brand was it I can’t hear him correctly
Westcott Designs
I dont understand this 0° or 20° about this rock slider why you call it 0 or 20°
0 is flat and 20 is tilted up at a 20 degree angle...
Welded?
Bolt on
I don’t get it if I wanted steps I would leave the stock ones on. They’re sliders. I wanna protect my fucking doors
Hey Jon, what's your thoughts on the yakima Roof rack? I'm on the fence in thinking of removing it off of my trdoff Road venture easier to wash for sure, idk ..
take it off, it is easy to put back on if needed
I have some high running boards that double as sliders and much lighter cause they are plastic
Those are definitely NOT sliders. Running boards yes.
I like the looks of 0 degree
