My ex-stepdad and cousin were like that with me and my mom. See, what you did was good, you set your boundaries and expectations so she knows to be supportive or not speak.
      This bride called her mother horrible names to the entourage and on TV before her mother said anything! That was so disrespectful. Dont draw first blood, then expect a toxic person not to be toxic? She is halfway there to becoming her mother with her own mean jabs.

    • @dietotaku
      @dietotaku Рік тому +6

      @@perfecttenk8744 I'd argue the mom drew first blood by spending the daughter's whole life being verbally abusive, if mom didn't want to be publicly called out she should have been a better mother. should the bride not have warned the staff & crew of her mom's lifelong tendencies?

    • @perfecttenk8744
      @perfecttenk8744 Рік тому +1

      @dietotaku yes, she invited her mother, she has to give a decent amount of respect that should be gvn to mom. Same goes for mom, having accepted the invite, she shd show a decent amt of respect. What kind of horrible person invites someone to an event, to bad mouth the invitee to the public? A good person will hope for the best behaviour from her guests but will apologise if guests disbehave, not speak ill of people before it even happened. Daughter drew first blood. Arguably, she maybe willed it to happen on a subconscious level by her actions.
      If the mom behaves like a troll, good for the crew and bridal business, they don't need warnings... Juicy & candid reality shows make money!
      abused victims don't have to become abusers. Violence begets violence. This bad learned behaviour that is usually generational can be stopped before it gets passed on to her descendants. Kindness is key.
      I guess we can't blame the poor bride at all. She had no good role model to learn good conduct from.
