I love how jose always celebrates like crazy in the quater finals and the semi finals but the finals he always puts the players first and get a bit away from the moment
It’s because he has never lost a final
Look at his celebration when Chelsea won the same trophy in 2015, it was very much Jose front and centre 😂
@@Thealan93 he has a few times

Still can't believe Tottenham sacked him days before he could've gotten his 5th League Cup + Tottenham's first trophy since 2008. Mourinho really is like he said himself "The Special One"
If if's and buts were candy and nuts.
It was politics not football reasons.
Juan Ramos is more Special than Mourinho. United fans got their best manager since Fergusson
He won the league cup with the likes of Jonathan Woodgate and Allan Hutton. Something Mourinho will never ever achieve
@@MultiKadafi inter and porto had good players. Juan Ramos had 0 good players. Heritage
They won the Europa league that season too.
Phil Jones, Fellani, Lingard and Daley Blind as regular starters.
Football heritage.
If roma win their game in hand they will be 2nd in the league. Jose spent 7 million last summer. 7 million. And he is pushing for 2nd in the league. The guy is a miracle worker
4 pretty good players at the time.
Blind was a key part of a team like 2 years after that almost made a Champions League final. Jones has been very good at points, just because he has memes about him doesn't change that. Lingard the same. Fellaini gets laughed at, but I once saw him double-marked by Juventus of all teams and it still wasn't enough to stop him, a great wildcard option.
None of those players were below Europa League level. 2 or 3 were arguably above it, if anything.
@@brandonayong5823 Chill out with the overreactions. If Juve was not deducted those points they would be 2nd easily. Also only IF Roma wins the game in hand they will be tied with Inter and Milan at a season when those 2 are very bad.
@nikosofidemporas bro even if Roma are 3rd that is a remarkable achievement considering the inferior quality of squad Jose Mourinho has got at Roma compared to Juve, Inter and Milan. Juve, Inter and Milan have got a CL level squad while Roma at best is a Europa side and They are going toe to toe with those behemith clubs that is a remarkable achievement in itself.
“I’m a bit emotional, yes”, Jose said emotionlessly.
Mourinho was never my cup of tea in terms of football identity but one thing I'll always say about him, is how he gives respect and recognition to his opponents, win lose or draw. Respect.
my friend is MU and he hates jose as well but to be fair he was the dumbest guy in our friend circle . i can understand why people see his style boring but you have to understand that to be a winner you can not be attacking every time especially if your not the best team and if you play against teams that are dangerous and jose never takes a job that is easy with a top players he takes challenges and what he did with the squad he was given interms of results was pretty damn good but media was full of hate and dumb fans just fallow it
football identity? which is? Ten Hag literally is winning with a counter attacking display, and few managers have played a batter counter attacking game than Mourinho. His current Roma side play fluid football i’d suggestion you have a look at some highlights
How about his childish antics towards rival managers and players during the game, is that respect? Poking someone in the eye, is that respect? How about screaming insults at the officials and getting sent off countless times, is that respect? Coaching his players to dive and criticising and insulting refs in post match interviews, is that respect? Deflecting personal criticism by publicly criticising his own players, is that respect? Publicly criticising his own chairman (employer), is that respect?
The man's a timebomb at every club he's managed, it's inevitable he implodes and leaves his clubs in a worse state than when he took over so please don't give me he's respectful

It’s mad to think how much I under appreciated that utd team winning this trophy and José himself
We love jose mourinho 🔴
Top Reds and Media hate him. Very few united fans rate him like myself.
this is football heritage
I'm a Wolves fan (bear with me)...when Rui Patricio (our former GK) told us he was leaving for Roma 'to win trophies (under Mourinho)' I thought 'well good luck with that, Roma never win anything'. They proved me wrong after winning the Europa Conference League against Feyenoord last May. Credit to Rui Patricio, he made a great call in the twilight of his career and, whilst I acknowledge it's obviously not the Champions League or even the Europa League, fair play to Mourinho for bringing Roma their first major European trophy in his first season at the club. Massive credit due IMO 👏
Wow.... I'm a Milan fan and that perspective was refreshing and so wholesome.
Much respect for you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
And he might win his second trophy in the Europa league this year, you never know :) Difficult, but you never know.
Let's hope
Truly one of the greatest managers the game has ever seen. Hope he comes back to the Premier League.
Jose is my favourite United manager after Fergie, dude is a monster and his time at Porto, RM, Inter and Chelsea was crazy. He's doing well at Roma now, but i feel that his team can do better and get back into the UCL.
Ten Hag is easily the best manager since Fergie
@@ashleycoburn9770 potentially
Better than Busby? 😅😅
@@ashleycoburn9770 I said he's my favourite. I didn't say he's the best. And yes, ETH is 'potentially' the best since fergie.
@@chinaman1 what Jose did at Porto I doubt that kind of achievement will happen again.. the Leicester winning the league was also really inspiring too.
Only jose..3 silverware in his first year at United..Respect
How anyone can dislike Mou is beyond me
Jose will always be a favourite. The Glazers obviously didn't back him, and backed players over him. Loved his passion. We now have Erik and wouldn't trade him for the world, but Jose with backing could have brought us back. THE SPECIAL ONE. ❤
He had plenty of money to spend. He was living out of a hotel because he knew he wouldn't be there long enough to actually buy/rent a place to stay, how's that for commitment. The guys a mercenary, always has been always will be.
@@philbarton2832no he never he needed 4-5 players in one window they'd barely get 2-3 players in. While city and Liverpool were bringing in 6-7 players in a window.
@@MultiKadafi The hard truth is you can't get every target you want/need but he certainly was backed financially. Everywhere Jose goes I always hear how he didn't get exactly what he wanted, tough that's life, you get some and work with what you got and utd had talent all over under Jose
In fairness, I didn't like him as our manager but he faced an uphill battle with the toxic individual dressing room we had plus God awful owners
Sanchez was evidence of that, the man wanted to leave after a week of being there.
@@philbarton2832 Agree with u since jose get 3 mvp in 3 difference league at that transfer windom. However, I can bet the ending would be difference if casemino didnt join in this summer which initally the board are not willing to buy at first glance. Manager should be backed by the club, if you dont like his style, u shouldn't hire him. Pogba should be the one to leave instead of jose to show the commitment.
He will remain such an important figure in United's history. His bravery to speak out against the Glazers sparked the biggest wave of #GlazersOut ever. I'll always be thankful for that!
Great point.
Instead others branded him as toxic
United not backing him after finishing second is tantamount to criminal negligence
Mourinho = Legend
My only regret with Jose was he didn't win that FA cup final against Chelsea. We were a much much better team and yet lost.
I loved Jose at Manutd. Just wish it could have lasted a but longer
mourinho was the right man at the time, sadly glazers decided not to back him after that season
No he wasn't.. we should have got him after sir Alex.... He gave his best years before he came.
Would you back a manager who wouldn't even buy a place to live in Manchester? Mourinho is famous for being a short term manager, he takes full advantage of the "new manager bounce" then when the players inevitably get sick of his antics he runs away or gets sacked when the going gets tough.
ETH is a long term project manager who manages a club from top to bottom, Jose is mercenary chequebook manager who isn't interested in anything but his senior players
@@philbarton2832 Would you stick with Ten Hag if he's sitting barely 5th? There's no such thing as long term or short term. A long term manager is someone who stays for long by developing a good team and winning quickly. Ten Hag is a prime example. he has 70+ percent winning record already at his first season. Sir Alex's first years was an exception but, that was a different era.
Not back him? He got Lukaku for 90m 😂😂😂

Jose is great. Wish it worked out better for him at United. Wonderful manager.
He finished 2nd in the league and right now we would bite their hand off to finish in this position lol. In hindsight they should have kept him but saying that ETH would.nit have been manager and he looks like he's doing wonders for the club.

Jose is a legend! Come back to the Prem 🙏🏼
Just looking at the celebrations back there is a completely different feel to the celebrations here and the celebrations last weekend. They are so much more subdued and feel like they are celebrating in a reserved fashion whereas this weekend was mental. Definitely feels different as a United fan.
because United fans are thirsty for any cup. A few years ago, there was nothing really worth celebrating about winning a carabao cup. guess the standards have changed.
@@johnohue2377 yeah we as a fan got humbled. many years of being trophyless. now we are thirsty for achievement and appreciate every trophies.
United would’ve won a trophy sooner than just under 6 years if they’d stuck with him or gone for Ten Hag in 2019 instead of Ole.
Nope. United had a very bad squad back then. Now they have got 2 proven world class player in their prime atleast then they didn't have 1
You clearly didn't watch united under Jose. He's a great manager and I respect him a lot, but his time at united was woeful, he was getting carried by De Gea for most of the season.
@Reddevil what? I watched every game under him and there is absolutely no way he would let United have this long of trophy drought u got to be kidding. Only reason he didn't win that FA Cup final against Chelsea in 2017 is because he had to play Phil Jones in defense
@@akshanshbharti2401the overall feeling around his time at United wasn’t great though, the football was never convincing, it was actually quite horrendous. We were chasing after the ball and sitting back for most of the game and in possession we had 0 creativity. We didn’t have the best players but the tactics weren’t great or exciting. With Ten Hag things feel very different. His style of playing is much more entertaining to watch and we don’t find ourselves just sitting back waiting for little moments of brilliance to win us the game.

As a Manchester United manager The Jose Mourinho I personally consider him as a successful one...but if something gone bad on his last reign, let's say he was not only one to be blamed.
1. Manager:- broken relationship with players.
2. Board. :- didn't provide the manager exactly the same players that he want.
3. Players :- failed to impress manager.
4. Fans. :- we failed to show the manager that we trust him as our own
5. Media. :- always focused on his mistakes more than his long lists of greater doings.

Let's see if ten hag can replicate or even achieve more.. Fa cup, epl, europa league all still pending. Then, we make a conclusion by end of season. Right now, only 3 out of 5 managers post-fergie era had won trophies. The other 2 flopped miserably.
Either way, Ten Hag is tops and will get lots of time, especially after the club got just 58 points last season. The worst PL season ever. Getting to UCL is more important. A Carabao Cup winners get £100K, a bottle of champagne and a worthless tin cup. UCL group stage alone gets you €15.64 million.
