Looking good! If you get tired of using the foam cutter and don't mind a little mess. I prefer the dry wall saw for cutting the foam. Take care keep up the good work!
This was a great video. The way you did it as what you showed getting done and the video length was perfect to me. Not to long and showed alot of work getting done but didn't drag through the work showing every little thing. You are definitely moving along at a good pace getting things done and it's looking very nice. Stay well. -Wil 👍
Nice job, looks hood. A bit off help here. I use an old mustard squeeze bottle to lay my ballast. It gives me control. I use woodland scenic fine ballast but I'm in h o.Also a smaller soft brush might work better.
I could have used a more powdery type of ballast and it would be perfect. I already ripped up and re ballast this whole section and went sparingly. Came out much better! Still working on finding an even easier way.
Yep, trying to pace myself so I don't get burnt out. Still need a couple houses and will put in a dirt road whenever my models get here. Need to add the people and vehicles as well.
Only thing i suggest is to add some smaller younger pine trees as well as decidous trees. Also, with how rocky your landscape is, it wouldn't be a bad idea to add some small rocks/boulders protruding out of the ground scattered around the grass and on the other side (closer to us) of the creek. But otherwise awesome job as always.
Looking good. I really enjoy videos on adding scenery. Everyone has their own method and I find that there is always some little tip mentioned that I can use on my layout.
Lovely job, lot of work there at Mustang creek enjoyed watching you do that. As for future content I like seeing scenes put together as you have with Mustang Creek, but to be honest if it’s to with the building of a model railway I generally enjoy it. I seem to have fallen in the groove of putting a video out very two weeks which gives me time to put something together but I never set out to do that. The intention was when I had something worth sharing I’d do it. Cheers for now John
I agree completely, but if I don't put a date on when to finish the videos I simply won't. Right now I'm thinking every 2 weeks is enough time for planning, everything to dry, and editing.
Not sure. But this layout is a test trial. I want to have a building with a huge layout inside and make it an attraction. With that in mind this layout will eventually be finished. lol
Painting is always a good way to go. I have a friend that uses the ez rail and he ballasts with more of a powder and he looks amazing. I would have done the same thing with the kato but I already had what I'm using.
What scale? And I recommend planning before anything else. Like how many industries is a good start or stations for passengers. Also dont have all your rail on the edge of your layout. I had my share of falling freight that smashed into the floor. Scenery on both sides of the track is great for depth and variety.

I will definitely give it a try next time.

It is coming around nicely.

A wood pile by the lumber mill will tie in nicely as well.
@@wethepeople7961 I totally forgot!!! I have piles of logs made already and cut lumber as well!
Layout is looking really good! Thanks for sharing. Dave
Thanks!

Thanks! I still need to add people, a dirt road, and a few other accent pieces.

There we go. Wheelsets
Awesome job....nice video....

are you going to clean all the ballast off the top of the ties??? just curious!!...vinny
On the thicker parts...yes. when I repaired the curve and re ballast it came out perfect and the tires are visible.
It looks really good, but is a layout ever really done :)

I think All I am gonna do is Paint the Rail My layout I am Running Bachmann E-Z Track N Scale.

I’m just starting out a small home layout do you have any tips
