The Nordic countries are often praised for their high quality of life, even compared to other Western European nations. They have robust social welfare systems that offer comprehensive support to their citizens, significantly contributing to overall well-being and economic security. Having worked and traveled to Stockholm, I'm still in awe of Sweden to this day.
If you are an extrovert forget Finland cos depression will finish you. But introverts will feel like they are in heaven. Also you don’t like learning a new language, wouldn’t want to be a taxi driver, wash dishes and other minimal jobs avoid Finland.

Housing benefit exist. But people who come in through provincial nomination as PR and citizens are considered first. For the PR nomination, they assume the city nominated the candidate and they cant live anywhere else except that province sp they consider them
Housing benefit has recently been cut and might receive extra cuts.

This is the correct information on who qualifies for Child benefit. Canadian citizen. a permanent resident. a protected person. a temporary resident who has lived in Canada for the previous 18 months, and who has a valid permit in the 19th month other than one that states "does not confer status" or "does not confer temporary resident status" - We started getting it as work permit holders so i know this for a fact.
I’m also new here in Canada with my family. You have said it all there isn’t discrimination here in Canada,you can become who you want to become unlike Europe 👌🏾

I can relate, having moved from Ireland as well. Professionally, I've grown, but I don't see Canada as the land of milk and honey that many people perceive it to be. After over four years here, I still don't feel fully settled, and I think that's largely due to the cultural differences.
Well, it depends on one's definition of Milk and Honey. To be honest , only the homeland can offer you that.

I'd wish these videos would talk about the reality of healthcare in Finland. It is not free for adults; the quality has decreased greatly recently; the waiting time is months. I recently got a small cavity fixed on my front tooth, the bill was over 60€. 😵😵 My hubby needs a root canal, the waiting time is over 2 months. The new government passed a law that one must receive healthcare in the course of 6 months- IT USED TO BE TWO WEEKS!! That's how bad it is.
Wow so as a student in Finland with A permit. My children are not entitled to child benefits but what if my husband gets/ switch to a work permit, can the children start getting the benefits.
What about healthcare services, are they entitled to it in Finland.
I have someone in finland wit A permit via study and also the kids and hubby via spouse... but they get child support
