At first I thought to myself: "is Martha walking kind of slow? Is she okay?"
And then I googled her and *SHE IS F***KING 80 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* WHAT??!?!??!?! 🤯
She is wearing LATEX PANTS AND HEELS ffs!!!!
What an icon! 🤩
I thought the same thing. Which is embarrassing because I'm 65 overweight and with severe sciatica. She looks fab for 80!! Holy cow!!
@@teresaferrer4748 lolol I’m 29 and even I’m not confident enough to wear latex pants 😂
It’s called millions of dollars in plastic surgery.
80? She is so awesome.
Crap, I was literally doing the same thing!
"If you're not, there's the door."
Daaaamn Stephen, I didn't know you both had claws.
When Stephen said thanks for coming back, she said, "I almost didn't." What was that about?
Yeah, if you don’t wanna be there...
Think it's about her last visit to Colbert when while they were cooking, Stephen asked her out of the blue "Quick question while we're pouring this, you went to jail for obstruction of justice, right?" 🤣
@@margo3367 being a jerk she was
Holy cow, I wouldn’t have guessed she is 80 years old😲👍
Except that she subtly held onto Stephen, the desk and the chair- as you should at 80!
Okay, that explains a LOT.
I think we all noticed a little wobble, but good grief, I started to wobble around 45. 😄
@@daledarling11 she’s was hitting the bottle
@@jcoopes5604 Don't believe that she has been drinking.
Martha is 80 years old.
It appears that her legs are very weak. If you watch walk, it's very gingerly. She held the desk all the way to her seat
Old age may have finally found a home with Ms Stewart.
Money takes away years
I love that she came out salty af but her and Stephen were still professional and had a chuckle. She’s a gem (:
Why was she salty tho
@@momma8954 Well, we can discard the guess that "it's that time of the month"...
@@ChineduOpara I mean it’s possible. But who knows
She's a Karen Gone Wild, brah.
@@momma8954 She said something about their last interview together being coarse. Maybe he had brought up her insider trader debacle.
Martha. I want to hate her so bad…but she is such a bad ass I can’t hate her. She is stylish AF too
In the shadows I thought she had a mini skirt!
I want to have her babies😐
Yeah, you already said so.
I've always loved Martha but I really do think ever since she met Snoop she seems way more laid back & relatable... Really miss the morning show she used to have in the 90's
it's the weed
@@scooterbaby1 lol 😂
She taught me how to fold a fitted sheet 😆 Haha, she is definitely more mellow. Weed, perspective after time in prison, or just getting older (old people are happier than younger people in general).
@@scooterbaby1 it's the prison
@@joanstepleton1637 I think of her every time I do the linens.
What's the one thing you own that you should really throw out?
That liverwurst sammich.
I love Martha.
"It's a good thing."
💖 Martha Stewart. I miss the shows she used to make at her house on Turkey Hill Road in Connecticut. They were the best.
To be fair, many aging people get problems with balance from spine and from inner ear aging. Kudos to anyone who's doing that well at 80
It’s the sticky icky.
Thar is truth!
I am one of those people and I'm not even 60 yet.
People in their 60sand 70s are usually look 20 years older than her
I’d like to think it was that, but my first impression was that she had been drinking. It was her balance, but also her demeanor. Even if she was, it wouldn’t be the first time for a celebrity or even a host. I enjoyed seeing the twinkle in her eye, when talking about getting Russell Crowe’s autograph.
This women is a cultural institution in herself . And still one of the most charming presences on stage! Love her.
What a badass!!
That was charming?
@@TreeCutterDoug ch’Ar Ming
No thanks, I feel like I should like her but I just don't
Martha plays puff puff pass with Snoop but with John Hancocks 🤣
She strikes me as pure class and genuine.
Well, being classy includes showing compassion…
ms stewart has a very guarded public persona, but if you ever saw any of her cooking segments with her mom, when they would make traditional dishes of their polish heritage, you would get glimpses of just how down to earth and uncomplicated she can be.
She gave us a few reluctant glimpses . I didn't know she was Polish :-)
@@laurafay2796 ... and still is Polish. ;-)
I seen all them, but I’ve also seen interviews she’s given and segments on her show since her mother died where she discussed her relationship with her mother and it was complicated to say the least.
She's just stoned, bro.
I remember a few of those shows, my mom was a tiny little lady too ❤️
Dr. Strangelove from Martha Stewart was literally the strangest possible answer. I am imagining her watching that demented movie and smiling smugly, and it's impossibly weird.
She does have a line of CBD gummies, so nothing should surprise us.
It's also my favorite movie of all time. Slim Pickins and the many faces of Peter Sellers FTW!
@@elianevdb and you must think that makes people "high"
Impossibly great film. Kubrick owes the studio giving him 5 years to make 2001 to Dr. Strangelove.
stop saying literally
Martha rocks latex pants and high heels. She's a legend
I was waiting for him to ask "Bowl or Blumt?"
As mentioned, 80 is the new...70? Here's a couple more for my fellow oldsters:
Barbara Walters, 92
Jane Fonda, 84 (JFC, Goog her -- she looks GREAT!)
Barbra, 79
Cher, 75
Sonny, still dead.
I told someone recently that 62 is the new 62. It is also the old 62.
Yes, X = X. Simple.
@@davidbalentine2110 okay.
How do you spell PLASTIC SURGERY…..
Yes ma’am liverwurst on white bread with mustard mayo and salad. I’m German and grew up on that sandwich !!!! Love Martha !!!
When we're 80 years old, modern science can make our faces look great. Now come up with some way to make us move better, and we'll never complain again, maybe.
Exercise every day
The cost. The price is always worth complaining about
@@Buttercup697 Yup. Everyone says I move like a teenager.
Gotta agree with Martha on the oranges. For one they go good with chocolate.
😋
But u can slice up apples in a sandwich, but u can not.put oranges in a sandwich
They don't need peanut butter to taste good.
This woman is a damn boss and I love her
She's not drunk, she's just a little salty about her last visit to Colbert when while they were cooking, Stephen asked her out of the blue "Quick question while we're pouring this, you went to jail for obstruction of justice, right?"🤣
Aww, that was funny. She should lighten up as a criminal.
So you also thought she might be drunk?
dude I thought she was wasted
@@polakhomie She was lit. There is a difference.
This question was to show what can happen when a famous person obstructs justice.
“Sharks are lovely.” I like her.
I thought is was cheeky and cute. They both have awkward tendencies as their shtick. Love me some Martha! 👑💯
I absolutely love you Martha, especially when you stated that you prefer cats over dogs. 😻😁
Martha is a bad ass at 80 years young! My totem spirit animal.
To this very day, Martha Stewart is still interesting to listen to. Could she be an icon?
Balance issues are common as we age. She's holding on to avoid a fall.
Drunks would just stagger on stage.
Always nice to see Martha.
I agree.
She looked like her hips or knees could be hurting.
I am younger and move similarly.
Yes...she might’ve walked out gracefully to not “stagger”.. but her face says it all though. She looked smashed or on something her face was hella red 😳
Honestly if you know any of her history she is more gangster than Snoop.
Yup, she put the B in Biotch a hundred years ago. And she still doin’ it. Can’t stand her but morbid curiosity got me here.
1:14 Stephen aint having any of Martha's sass!!
What's with the animosity between these two?! The tension is thick.
It's awkward for him to be cutesy with her like he is with some guests. She has such a strong presence that I think he feels uncomfy and doesn't that, lol.
Great segment. Years ago I hated her but after she went to jail I started to love her. I loved Stephen’s comment about rancid garbage smell and her favorite sandwich
The term "correctional center" worked for Martha
“All the news fit to ‘app’ “ was a great line that went over everyone’s head.
Yeah, I don't get it.
Now that is one classy Soul!! Thank you Martha for your wisdom!
I must confess that I've long had a thing for Martha Stewart.
You need to get out more often.
Yay, cats!!! I love how surprised and excited the ladies in the audience were when she said that. Haha!
I adore Martha. She's still as exciting as she was 20 years ago.
At first, when she came out I thought she was drunk, but then I looked up how old she is and she's 80! Who knew?? Wow!! She looks great!
Gardenia is my favourite smell too 🌸
Looks great. She seemed a little surly, then said "I am up to the challenge." So she revved herself up for the challenge. And focused on doing a great job. She has great focus. She kept up and more with Stephen.
I've never been a fan, but she definitely brought the sass to this one.
Oh Stephen tuberosas are awesome! I keep a pot of them on my deck in the summer, and bring them in for the winter time.
I'm surprised nobody has guessed the number 42. If you know, you know, that it is the ultimate answer.
Yes, to life, the universe, and everything....have you partaken of a pan galactic gargle blaster?
I feel like he'd still say no
What a great answer for "Greatest Action Movie!"
If only it actually was one, not a black comedy. :D
I LOVE Martha Stewart!!!!!
She was really trying to avoid any eye contact at first, huh?
Martha is drunker than a glass of water.
She has a buzz on for sure. Bless her heart.
She must have been exploring behind Stephen's desk.
I was thinking the same thing.
I was searching comments to see if it was mentioned !!
She is high….
Class with humor, an elegant combination.
I LOVE that she said When we die , if we're good, we go to Heaven. Barely ANY of the famous people who take this challenge say that.
Shows that most people have good sense not to believe in fairy tales. XD
And which "heaven" is that again? What evidence do you have for there being anything after we die? Why isn't it the exact same as before we were born, we simply don't exist anymore? It's so sad to me that a grown person would still believe in the same absurd fairy tales they did as a child, do you still believe in Santa Claus? The Tooth Fairy? Which of the 2000+ "god(s)" is in your heaven? Is that "god(s)" all powerful? If so I guess it enjoys WATCHING CHILDREN STARVE TO DEATH huh? I mean it's all powerful and just sits back and watches CHILDREN STARVE TO DEATH - holy shit that's a fucked up "god", huh?
And if some people go to this fairy tale "heaven" place then do some go to a mythical "hell"? How horrible you are - you could enjoy yourself in a heaven knowing that others are BURNING IN HELL FOR ALL ENTERNITY? I guess you and your "god(s)" are fucking monsters as I could NEVER be happy knowing that - knowing that someone I knew and/or loved is being punished INFINITELY for a finite crime?
It's a damn good thing your "god" is a fucking fairy tale as what a horrible, hateful, evil entity it would have to be.
@@Thortok2000 Sadly it isn't most, it's still a very small percentage - at least here in the US. Good to see you're one of the ones that doesn't still believe in fairy tales after childhood.
Love you, Martha! Always have, always will.
It felt like a mother trying to talk to her teenage son and i loved it
this is perfect in so many ways. generations apart
Stephen totally agree with you and apples, it’s perfect with peanut butter!
For that "rest of your life in 5 words" questions, she's the only one I've seen so far that actually chose words... not trying to fit a 5 word sentence into it. Very original.
Shout out to the Collier Brothers!!! They come up in my family quite often, for some reason!
Always been a fan of Martha's products and shows.
Love this segment!!
Me too.
Not with this guest though.
She’s clearly high af! 🤭🤭 and good for her! 😂😂🎉🎉
No she isn't she is just being funny
It was very obvious there was some tension between Colbert and Stewart. I'm very interested to know the back story
Agreed! Like woah, wth!
Once when she came on the show to cook with Stephen he asked her about going to jail (in relation to former reality tv guy and obstruction of justice) and she Did Not like it.
Martha must have been hangin' out with Snoop before her appearance 🤣
Love seeing Martha
Now I fully enjoyed her. She has a cute little laugh and I think she's kinda flirtatious lol great gal
"Could she be any more drunk " (Chandler)🤣🤣🤣
She's not drunk. She's getting up there in age and doing really well for her age.
When you're 80 you, too, might come off a smidge tipsy or salty, and you might even walk like a toddler robot.
What a lovely and surprising interview, thank you.
she thinks before blurting out answers. i like that
I just love her
Love Martha!
She's 3 Sheets to the Wind using Stephen's desk as a guard rail 🍷
It's hip arthritis
She could be dealing with imbalance. You brace yourself on a counter, wall or railing.
80 years old, heels, and snug pants. And frailty begins to set in.
My mother loved gardenia corsages too!
Scariest animal? Humans!
Martha hit a fun restaurant south of Market in S.F. years ago. Southern food. Town Hall. Close to the end of the bar, the place put up portable barriers to surround the open half of her table. (the appetizers are the best) I was invited by the stunning bartender to drop in some time and she's take care of me. She had everything in her looks that was right about Julia Roberts plus... Anyway, I hit a table with friends and really wanted to pop my head around Martha's screen and say something fast and witty...11 years later I'm still working on that line...
Oh no, Martha had one too many cocktails before she came out.
I swear to god this lady came out of prison a different woman.
My mother was a neat hoarder. She lived in her house alone for 15 years. Cleaning out her 4 bedroom house, every closet, every cabinet, every drawer was packed with STUFF.
That's an emotional issue due to not having a fulfilled life, sometimes trauma, sometimes not seeing loved ones.
Tuberose is a Hawaiian smell. I think March is their time.
Love Martha👍🏽👏🏽
Scariest animal is the Irukanji box jellyfish. Imagine a clear Tic Tac in the water.
Is she baked?
New game: Baked, drunk or 80?
Maybe she got more than just an autograph from Snoop Dog.
She's drunk.
No
I am so surprised Martha Stewart become so OLD !! , she is a wonderful chef in the food profession.
42 is the number he is thinking. anyone else agree? he is a sci-fi nerd
I’m convinced it’s 11 since he often mentions he was the youngest of 11 children and he’s very sentimental.
19, That is the number of rings there were in "The Lord of the Rings".
lol we need a list of all number already answered
How did she answer so many questions yet..., I feel I still no next to nothing about her.? Other than she has to be one of the most Awesome People to get baked around because that lady can make some food.
Dr. Strangelove shows extremely good taste, even though it ain't exactly an action film.
@@sclogse1 Agreed, it shows discerning taste. And it is a black comedy, nowhere near an action movie.
I LOVE MARTHA!! SHE IS AN OG!! 😀
It's the "what happens when we die" question that tells you the most about how a person thinks
I was really hoping when Martha said she had asked for Snoops autograph multiple times, was due to her being high when smoking with Snoop that she forgot.
"Liverwurst"!!....That's right up there with Slingblade's "potted meat!
You have just made me question why I have never dared to try liverwurst, when I grew up eating potted meat!
I love Martha Stewart because she did real hard time and is in my opinion a real gangster.
It's crazy that Martha is still constantly doing stuff. She easily could have retired right when she got out of prison.
gotta get money and fame. they can't live without it.
@@catytheredheadedalaskan8118 Yup.
And shareholders need their cut.
Still a good lookin' old prison broad...
That's not how you feel when you get out of prison. Your urge isn't to retire, it's to see the world.
That sounds so unlike her, though. 😆
"Window or aisle?" was Frank Zappa's way of letting someone know they were fired from the tour, and referred to the plane ticket for their return to Los Angeles. Although popularly known as a "radical" thinker, Zappa was in many ways very conservative.
Right, He kicked out Lowell George for Mothers of Invention for writing Willin'. I have a bootleg from '75 where Lowell tells the crowd, "I got kicked out for writing a song about dope, can you believe that shit?"
Frank was paranoid about drugs -- he was a coffee and ciggy butt man. (The latter is so gross. Reefer all the way.)
I'm starting to believe the Colbert Questionnaire truly was designed by scientists. I expected completely different answers from Ms. Stewart.

You know Stephen is about to get the most incredible bouquet of tuberoses sent to him!! And of course the scent of gardenias is her fave, love that woman!
IN MY VIEW
I thought Martha Stewart's answer to Colbert "That sounds like a challenge. I'm up to the challenge" was a class act when he told her "There's the door."
Too many 🍷🍷🍷?

Tuberose is my fave scent too, I first encountered it in Hawaii on a lei.
I love Martha, she’s the original Queen B! ❤️
I'm five years younger than her and there are no high heels (or even low heels) in my closet. Crazy to continue wearing those hip busters.
Can anyone else feel the tension between these two? I mean Steven telling her "there's the door"
It's a little bit frosty, yes. He's pushed her buttons before, teetering on the edge of rudeness, and he's rather lucky she comes back. It says a lot about her; the next person would hold a little grudge and stay away.
If Martha Stewart & Snoop Dog got married, I wouldn't be surprised.
I'd be surprised if he could sign his name. He is always wasted. Which explains his crappy so called music
I first heard about them hanging around each other about 20 years ago from a pilot who'd flown them somewhere. I wouldn't be surprised if they already were.
