Making an 18th Century Hat

For this project, I wanted a hat to wear with my 18th century à l'Anglaise. I didn't feel ready to tackle an iconic big hat, so decided to go with a simple decorated straw hat.
I watched Angela Clayton's tutorial a few times and then decided to tackle it! Her tutorial is really helpful. I think I picked the wrong kind of straw hat though - I literally could not find any suitable straw hats even though I went to every charity shop and high street shop. I ended up buying one from eBay, but the straw is quite soft, the hat sometimes hangs quite limp. But otherwise, I really enjoyed the super quick process!
