It doesn't matter if it's socially acceptable. You can wear whatever makes you happy! You're so talented no one would mind in the least if you wore your butterfly headpiece in public. I love your work, it's inspiring and beautiful.
for my fashion history class i had to recreate a headpiece and this video would've been so useful for me a few weeks ago! ahaha (i still used one of your blogpost to make it, it was the medieval horned headpiece!) I love your work!
you are such a talented young lady. i started sewing at an early age as well. my grandmother taught me, then i took additional classes in school. i wish i could costume like you. when my daughter was young, i made her big frilly dresses, but she's almost 28 and they wouldn't look so cute on her now. i don't sew much anymore, but i am enthralled with your channel and have been watching it and reading your blog all evening.
You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen . And I swear to God I'm not exaggerating . Her dresses are modest but yet elegant and super attractive .
😭😭😭😭 this are honestly beautiful !!! ~ I want all of them! and would literally wear them in public ALL OF THEM they are sooooooooooooo nice to not wear them and the best part is that they are all hand crafted ~ FORGOT TO ADD if and/or when ever I get filthy rich (LOL or just have enough money to splur on myself) I will pay you or hire you to make all my hats 😭😭😭😭 YOUR SO TALENTED ! I wish I can do my own hahaha
you are so talented, I can't wait to see what else you can create, and I hope that in the future to maybe see your take on some historical celtic clothing if that is something you may be intersted in. Either way I love your art.
socialy acceptable?! no you should just be yourself and wear what you want. I walk out the house everyday like it's still the 80s. don't care what people think of you.
If you can't walk out of your house in nothing but a sports bra and shorts one day an then a full Renaciannse ensamble the next you haven't told society to fuck off enough.
This is fascinating. I wish my great grandmother could see your work. She made all her daughters’ costumes (dancers) and would really have loved your work.
Thank you for sharing such a wonderful hat/headpiece collection, made all the more impressive by the fact that you made them. I think it's great that a young lady like you is creating garments that enable her to enjoy different periods of time and other lifestyles. To say that you are super talented and an inspiration is an understatement. Kudos!
I absolutely adore seeing all of these together like this! It's be interesting if every so often you did a series like this, showing thing like all of your Christmas (or seasonal?) outfits in a video, all of your favorite dresses in a video (maybe one pre-1800s and one post-1800s to be more manageable?) in a video, etc. It's super cool to see these in a way that we can compare them, almost like art in a gallery! Goodness knows it's beautiful enough to be art. Another great video, Angela! P.S. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me, someone who has no formal sewing training but now has taught himself thanks to your inspiration!
This is such a lovely collection and it seems like it was a lot of time to film this video, so thanks! I only have one suggestion for the next video in a style like that. Maybe you should make some kind of theme to show the hats? Like from medieval to modern or colour based or something? I realize this already was a lot of work, but maybe for next time this is something you could keep in mind! Still it is such an amazing video and I feel like I will watch it many more times when I'm thinking about what hat to make for a future project!
Please tell me you have a tutorial video on how you make the wide brimmed hats? I have very pale skin and live in a semi desert environment so I am needing wide brimmed hats more and more as time passes. I would love to be able to make a few for myself which are both stylish and functional. I would also figuratively kill for a parasol pattern and a tutorial video on how to make a parasol and fan. If you have those or know where I can go to get a good one then please please point me to them. Love your videos and think you are extremely talented.
look into the crochet umbrella's you can make one if you are good with crochet or knot work/ good luck.. If you cannot make one let me know, I am sure you can do this however.. I live in FLorida ans have white skin.. I am allergice to the sun.. so I get very sick and must cover up STYLISHLY at least.. ( handsofmercyoncall.gmail.com
Every time I pick a favorite, you present another one! They are all wonderful, and you wear them beautifully. Love the blonde hair, it suits your gorgeous complexion.
OMG, can't hardly believe you draft all the patterns for your hats. I draft patterns as well, so I truly appreciate the time you put into all of your hats.
Stellar! Your so talented! My mom would be ecstatic over your collection! Keep up the good work!🤗😍 Oh one more thing...hat pins...some of the hats I think used hat pins to secure in place...
Beautiful. Really appreciate all the time that went into gathering and filming all of these for us, as well as the time and skill that went into making them in the first place.
Angela, this is to let you know that I have enjoyed your videos for quite a while now. These head pieces in this video are particularly very creative and attractive and so are many of your other creations. I also enjoy the music you attach to many of your videos. You are an artist. Tom,
You are simply not from this era! So classy and pretty! Loved this collection and would love to have some of them! Just missed the classic music on the video, but it was very interesting!
You look stunning in all these hats...you have beautiful bone structure and eyes...you could have been modelling but I prefer you making great hats and stuff...you really have hooked me to the hat thing! I could watch you and your hats all day. I really want to make that sailor one and a couple of the bonnets but dont know when I would wear them...I think I may just get off with the pork pie one though!
Your hats are wonderful! I love your channel and you've inspired me to take the plunge and create a whole costume which I've never done before! Also, your wig is wonderful, and looks so natural. where did you get it?
I absolutely loved this, Angela, thank you for posting. I will try hat making soon; your lovely work has really inspired me (although I anticipate a steep learning curve!) Well done, Angela, you are a real artist.
Another hat you might want to look into... a butterfly hennin. It starts with the truncated hennin, like the one you made, but it has two wires that poke up of the top that like like antenna. When draped with a veil, it's very flowy.
oh my god these are all so gorgeous and I super jealous of all that talent I couldn’t make anything of that quality even if I tried. You look beautiful in all of them as well
I just discovered your channel. You're extremely talented and all these hats are absolutely gorgeous. I can't get over how talented you are!!! P.S. you're gorgeous by the way
IDK if you see old comments, but I am completely in love with the bicorne hats. I'd love to see you do a tutorial on them (esp. as googling does not seem to get me the right feminine "shape" that yours has)! I love it so much as it is so saucy looking.
Love love love this vlog My Mom's Mom worked as a milliner before marriage in the 19teens. And my Dad's Mom loved hats and I loved to watch her try them on on weekend shopping trips.
Wow! all of these hats are absolutely gorgeous! Your'e so talented and each of these designs are very creative. Overall your work is so inspirational and I love your aesthetics.
Beautiful hats. I wish ladies wore hats today. I tried to persuade all the ladies in my church to start wearing hats on Sunday mornings. I wanted us to all show up on a specific Sunday wearing a hat and then continue wearing one from then on but the idea didn't appeal to many of them and the idea never got off the ground.
Bravery. Most ladies don't wear hats now, even on Sundays, but the other Sunday, I saw a couple ladies in tradional I think Ugandan dresses and hats and absolutely loved it. They were gorgeous! If only...😔 my head does not seem to wear hats well...
That horned headdress is just so fantastic!
It's so cool to see someone else super into period fashion that's not just steampunk/ victorian. I hope my 1400s hats come out as pretty as yours :D
You are so creative. Hats off to you.
+
I see what you did there :D
Dad? I didn't know you had a youtube 🙄😂😂😂 just kidding, that was a good pun, I giggled 😂
It doesn't matter if it's socially acceptable. You can wear whatever makes you happy! You're so talented no one would mind in the least if you wore your butterfly headpiece in public. I love your work, it's inspiring and beautiful.
I love all of your hats. I love the fact that you even do hats with your costumes, you take them to a whole other level when you add the hat.
the horned headpiece is absolutely gorgeous!
How can anyone not instantly fall in love with you after seeing something like this, I don't understand
You should be working in the movie industry. Seriously.
Your skin is like porcelain! it's beautiful!
I'd love to see you make a russian kokoshnik. The more elaborate the more beautiful!
I love the extreme shape of the poke bonnet. I'm going to make one.
WOW. You made all of those hats/headpieces! Amazing!!!
They are all gorgeous!!!!!
So many of these look straight out of Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings they look so cool and pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the most iconic one is the one with the “devil horns”, it incredibly pretty
Oh and your wigs are gorgeous as well 💕
you have THE MOST amazing skin.
Leigh Carver ___ right? Pale skins are awesome, they're just beautiful.
You always take my breath away with your artwork, keep up the good work! 😊

Nate' Turner Right? I always wear flower crowns everywhere I go, even in the middle of winter. Who cares if it's not "conventional" ?
Nate' Turner easy for you to say
Nate' Turner 80's isn't really that extreme.
If you can't walk out of your house in nothing but a sports bra and shorts one day an then a full Renaciannse ensamble the next you haven't told society to fuck off enough.

Just amazing. You are just so talented
the 1860 evening cap reminded me of a wedding veil. have you ever thought about a wedding dress?
The tricorne is so charming
You have such classic features. It's amazing! Love your work, as always! ❤

Lovely hats - your work is beautiful.
You are SO cute wearing all those headpieces, even though you might not really like some of them! You look absolutely adorable in every single one
Hii Angela, I'm ASTOUNDED. You have such extravagant creativity, and you're so pretty!!!! I'm so glad I found your channel!!!!
I'd love tutorials on some of these, or for just the bases, especially on the pork pie hat, the evening cap/mourning cap and the boat hats ^^

I have serious hat envy right now. Millinery is such a lost, beautiful art.
You are just stunning! And your work is amazing, I wish I had talent like you. I love old fashions. My favourite is the 50s - 60s

These are soo beautiful and creative! You have such a timeless face too, with such pretty, dainty features.
I love how you drape feathers horizontally over hats!
you should make an etsy shop
That medieval inspired hat is giving me dinosaur vibes in the best way. “Pachycephalosaurus, but make it historical fashion!”
morning and evening caps are so beautiful!
I love your all hats, tiaras and crowns. You’re beautiful creative. ❤️😃
Hi Angela! What a great collection!!! Those are all so beautiful!! Congratulations!Kisses from Portugal!

I've always loved hats & collect, but your creations are just marvelous! Thanks so much for sharing.
Wow. How is it possible that I only found your channel like half an hour ago? These are gorgeous!
You look stunning in all these hats...you have beautiful bone structure and eyes...you could have been modelling but I prefer you making great hats and stuff...you really have hooked me to the hat thing! Stunning work. I've never seen anything done as lovely.
God those are insanely good. I think I will make the butterfly headpiece if I can find pretty fake butterflies like that.
That collection is something queen Elizabeth might like to have in her closet
They all are so interesting! Your artistry is beautiful, thank you for sharing it with us!
I absolutely loved this, Angela, thank you for posting. I will try hat making soon; your lovely work has really inspired me (although I anticipate a steep learning curve!)
Well done, Angela, you are a real artist.
These all suit you very well; you look like you walked straight out of a renaissance painting!
Another hat you might want to look into... a butterfly hennin. It starts with the truncated hennin, like the one you made, but it has two wires that poke up of the top that like like antenna. When draped with a veil, it's very flowy.
The 1540's Red velvet cap reminds me of the Trinity Blood character Caterina Sforza. Love all the hats and bonnets 😍
Can't wait to see your holiday project this year!
You have been given a rare talent.use it at it's best
oh my god these are all so gorgeous and I super jealous of all that talent I couldn’t make anything of that quality even if I tried. You look beautiful in all of them as well

The Christmas crown is life
I'm so envious of your talent. Gorgeous work.

I’ve been binge watching your videos! You are so creative and accomplished! One suggestion: silk shantung is pronounced sh-ann-tongue. Keep creating!
You have a beautiful collection and you look beautiful wearing them. You are very talented. I look forward to watching more of your videos.
The Grecian headpiece makes me think of Aurora in Disney's sleeping beauty for some reason. All of these are gorgeous
Love the mediaeval headpieces!

Boo wear it anyways.
You mentioned safety pin for storage. Other than a dust issue would you hang them on the wall like paintings? They would be georgeous.
I absolutely love your head pieces and wonder, do you have a video showing how to make your like bonnet of 1810 please x
loved your work. Thank you for giving us ideas on how you made them.
