i am lookimg at the way you get your baits out .in south texas we kayak our baits out . .you system seems interesting and very good for conditions here
Nice video. Just a suggestion or 2 if you don’t mind. Take your rod to the back and hook your bait a few meters in front of your drone, also make your bait & sinker hang 10-15m away from your drone this will stop the pendulum effect on the drone, and also make use of a dropper loop to attach your line to the drone
How did you get the drone to release the bait? Did you have a release mechanism attached to the drone or did you simply let gravity drop the bait for you by tilting the drone at an angle?
That was the swellpro 3 fully waterproof but heard the new ones have gone bad Just an electronic release clip to drop bait, press a button I have other vids on my channel of drone
Sharky Shepo we used 80lb braid with a clinch knot to our swivel for the leader and for some reason, the sharks loved snapping the rigs off before the swivel. Any reasons why this might happen?
@@mjhmaree braid has poor abrasion resistance, its strong as in breaking strength, but will not handle the reef or any structure that might be down there, you will just break off, you want to tie a topshot just like shepo said, and I use a sandiego jam knot for mono under 130lb and I use a uni knot for mono 200lb and up, and I use FG knot for braid to mono topshot.
Do you know where to find those drones used? I don’t mind spending good money on my fishing gear but I can’t seem to let myself drop $2k on a drone. Even tho it would make land based sharking life so much easier lol. I’ve got a Phantom but it’s not waterproof. Anyways, if you know where I can get a deal on one let me know. Also, do you sell those shirts?
Love that hook release. Will be making one. Thank you sir.
Ur welcome
Cheers for the positive feedback mate 👍

Hey mate. What size braid is on the spinners and what method do you use to connect (knots/crimp) the braid to the rigs?
80lb 100lb braid fg knot to top shot 130lb, and knot to swivel of rig
