hi nice video, just wanted to know did you glue the display on to the cut out, and also is it 2 wires coming from each buttons to set +_ , if u could answer those questions would be appreciated as i have the same board and on the verge of starting this project, also i noticed there is afan connector on board any reason why you didnt use the fan comnnector

Around 23:20, you can see the wiring. But I did you 2. The reason I didn't use the fan on the board, is its not temperature-controlled and stays on full blast, So I added a buck converter to have more control.

This unit has some drawbacks, i have the same and when i checked with an oscilloscope and found sudden bump in voltage for a few milliseconds even the power supply was turned off, this can destroy many boards especially that runs on 3.3v

Your right and I mention this in the video. To combat that issue I added the safety switch. With the switch off, no voltage comes out of the banana plugs. So I dial in the voltage and amperage, turn the unit on, then flip the safety switch on. Doing this pauses any voltage spikes as long as you don’t forget to use the safety switch.

Sorry, man, but Green is for Ground!
I think that using a Green binding post for the battery charging output is as misguided here, as it was on the Riden R6006 in the background. ;-]
Just because the Riden guy did it, doesn't mean you should follow in his errant footsteps... If he jumped off a bridge...
    Oh, nevermind! lol

I just used the only other color I had on hand, would be nice if these came in white, or even blue. But green was just a way to keep me from remembering That one and only jack is for batteries. It was actually the only odd color I had. Green can always mean go.....LOL

      @@njfulwider5 Go! lol
Yeah, I knew that... I was in a similar situation years ago, I wanted to match the colours coming from an ATX PSU...
I found all the colours except 3, so I painted one Orange for +3.3V, White for -5V, and Green; ironically, for an actual ground! lol Acrylic paint is pretty tough, it worked out ok.
      Cheers!
