This video shows you how to install a bidet attachment. I will show you the whole process from start to finish. The bidet I am using is similar to the Luxe bidet (htts://amzn.to/35sHc4W) but most bidets like this are the same and the instructions should work for other bidets (Compare bidets here: geni.us/B4AqXg (Amazon)).

What do you dry yourself with?
When I attached the original hose to the bottom of the piece that has three places to attach, after it was all done and we turned the water on, there was a leak at that juncture. There is not a leak when that hose is attached to the toilet. Should I put some plumber's tape on it?
Same here ,make sure you tighten all tubes as tight as it can go ,that solved my leaks

Okay this is literally an investment... for 40-50 bucks you can get a bidet and never need toilet paper again! I know what I’m getting myself for Christmas! haha

I did not pay attention to the music..... I just watched and paid attention to what he was doing, the instructions were super easy. One commenter mentioned COLD water, that was a stop and think moment.

Hi friend, can you help me out? That white plastic thing that you're twisting at 1:07, mine is a little different.
There seems to be a white plastic part like the one you have, but there's also a metal one, they seem to be stuck together. I think I have to unscrew them apart but I'm unable to do it. So I can't disconnect the hose from the underside of the tank
Also the toilet valve is now loose inside the tank.
What do I do?

But in all seriousness, I needed this video! I'm guessing this guy is raking in the money right now from this video, assuming lots of people are purchasing bidets nowadays... For me: Amazon, Walmart, Staples, and Best Buy (all Canada) have limited stock on bidets, if any... time to get one before they're all gone!

This video has definitely gotten more views because of Covid-19. Not sure your definition of "raking in the money" but I think this video has earned me an extra couple hundred dollars more than usual. Not a ton but enough for me to buy toilet paper ;) (of course I haven't needed to do that because I use a bidet!)
how do you keep the thing from sliding around? it seems the plastic notches are still allowing some movement. my unit came with "spacers" but I'm unsure as to how to place them. thanks
Hello Friend! Can you help me out? Before I installed my bidet, I had to replace the entire set of my toilet fill valve as it was already defective.
The set came with a PLASTIC adapter which I had to use in order to connect the fill valve to the plastic female end of the bidet hose. (No metals)
However it leaks and it seems to be coming from the connection between the adapter and the bidet hose. I tried with and without Teflon. Either way it still leaks.
What do I do? Thank you very much for your time.

Friend, one question after the installation, if the guest doesn't want to use the bidet jet, can I use the regular toilet handle to flush it?

this is helpful thanks! the issue is I have a quick release toilet seat and the mount is a maybe half an inche above the toilet seat, wouldn't this make a difference? in both the gap and the pressure being applied to the mounted bidet?
Do they make one that can be flipped to the other side in the event you don't have space on the right side?

@@2lazy2date There are non electric bidets that also attached to your hot water. Includes another T valve to attached to your sinks hot water valve. Cost a little more. But your sink nears to be near the toilet.......if Not, than you buy a electric Bidet seat. I just tried mine, for the first few seconds cold water is fine. After so many seconds it became a little uncomfortable. Use just the first 2 dial increments for water..after that too much pressure.
I unscrewed the bolt to the water supply, but the hose seems to be cemented into the toilet. How do I disconnect it?

Once you installed your bidet, did the toilet seat touch the toilet bowl? We installed ours and it does not touch it, I was reading somewhere you need to add spacers, but I have no idea what that is, do you?
My toilet seat is plastic so it is a bit flexible and does touch the seat.
Mine is plastic as well, it's a little high up, but it's fine I was just chicken to use it, I thought it would crack, lol! I am used to it now. Thanks a bunch!! :)

Does anyone know why bidet doesn't spray water? There is water in the pipe but the water just doesn't spray. Please let me know leave in comment
Interesting. The bidet might be chocked. I am not a plumber but I would have taken the whole bidet out, filled it's pipe with water and blow into the pipe to see if it makes any difference.
Is not not hygienic when flushing the water from the toilet bowl will be in contact with the sprayer?
Only if it overflows. It's not anywhere in the bowl area, its just below the seat, against the rim & the water it uses is from the tank, not the bowl. Also the nozzle self cleans

Yeah. Only cold water. I have see other bidets that allow you to hook up to hot water as well.
If your toilet is next to the sink you can easily install a hot and cold water bidet that will let you adjust the temperature to your preference. It's just a matter of bringing over hot water from under the sink. A little more complex of an install but still within the realm of diy. However like most faucets the water may have to run for a little bit before the hot water actually begins to flow. Might as well just get used to cold water spraying on you. Wake you up in the morning, that's for sure!

In India, we use jet sprays. Exactly what you showed. Its just a small attachment on the side of the commode. You do not need a separate seat / commode to clean. Very economical. Just under 5-7 US Dollars here in india.
Using water is more hygienic & healthy as a paper wont ever clean 100%. And since its dry, bacteria & germs make the anus area worst with bad smell & infections.
Use a water jet spray or a bidet fitting. it’s definitely more hygienic. Every person in India, be it poor or the rich, uses water to clean the butt.
Its more safer, hygienic & cleaner than using a paper. Once you get used to water, believe me you wont ever go back to use a toiler paper.
