It's Kraft Dinner "KD". As another Canadian watching this, hearing you call it "KP" gave me a laugh 😆 Piece of advise, when preparing it go a bit heavier on the butter and go lighter on the milk to make it a creamier consistency you won't regret it.

Maybe make the USA Kraft dinner and the Canadian one to compare

Canadian here: the chalky smarties in the US we call them Rockets here. Our smarties are those little chocolate candies

I laughed when you say cool minute as a Canadian I say “it’s been a HOT minute” 😂
i’ve used/heard both and i’m an american from FL
i definitely say/hear “hot minute” much more frequently
to me, a cool minute implies that it’s been a good amount of time but not necessarily long whereas hot minute implies it’s been a long time
it’s very interesting how terms/phrases/slang can be so different even in regions of the US especially in this day and age
Same in the UK!
I guess because our "hot minutes" are so fleeting here.🧊😂

I’m British, not sure if they are EXACT recipe. Maltesers are one of our best loved chocolates here in the UK. Malteser truffles are a different level and I often give them for Christmas presents to people. Please get UK treats and try those! We have the best chocolate here 😘
I have been to USA and tried their sweets and it’s not for me I’m afraid, chocolate is not good!! 🤣
Coffee Crisp is my favourite Canadian chocolate bar. We don't say candy bar, we say chocolate bar. Malteasers are VERY big in the Commonwealth, but in Australia, they love malteasers in their milkshakes. All dressed potato chips are VERY Canadian, and are ONLY sold there. We use the flavour for crackers and rice crackers too. Our chocolate is better quality, and uses a traditional European chocolate receipe. But in my opinion, a Scottish Mars bar is my personal favourite. Cheers from Toronto Canada ✌❤🇨🇦
As a American no worries their are those of us that say candy bars even chocolate bars but myself personally I say candy bars based on the type of candy but if it's chocolate or chocolate with nuts in it I will call it a chocolate bar but now a toffee bar I referee to as candy bar I hope this makes sense😆🍫🍬🍭

Hey friends fun fact the cheezies are called Hawkins cheezies, and the only place they are made are in my home down of belleville, ontario Canada 🇨🇦 and I live a 10 minute walk from the factory

Loved this! One of my favorite things to do visiting my family in England as a teenager was walking to the sweet shop and trying all the different candies we don't have here. Lol the wine drops felt like we were breaking all the rules. 😂

Manitoba has them too.. very big surprise reaching in the bag, grabbing a handful and hoping for a smokey flavour then getting blasted with vinegar instead … let’s just say I triple check the front of the bag whenever my fiancé buys the snacks from here on out 😅😅

This is so cool to see I'm Canadian I see these all the time glad you're getting to try them out. Definitely come to Canada I just started traveling to the US with a Vegas vacation last month it's totally a different vibe and I loved looking for snacks there we don't have. And yes ketchup chips are a staple here all brands all year forever!

I moved out of Canada a few years ago and havent been able to go back since. Watching you eat nearly all my favourite snacks(Hickory Sticks, Cheezies, Caramilk, and Coffee Crisp 💖) Really put a smile on my face and eased my home sickness. I'm so happy you liked them.

You can make your tacos however you feel like doing them but the authentic tacos are fresh tortilla either corn or flour meat with bell peppers, grilled onions add cilantro, guacamole and spicy salsa. Now what Sandy said is good but a bit whitewashed with the cheese not trying to be disrespectful whatsoever. Jarred lol my man try a tostada/chalupa I think you’ll really like it. Try making tinga de pollo it’s the best. Love your videos and you trying snacks/food is the best and how sincere you are rating everything.
Coffee Crisp also comes in a double double flavour, which is what you'd ask for at the coffee shop if you want double sugar and double cream. I find it far too sweet. They also have limited edition flavours - Vanilla Iced Cappuccino last spring, Pumpkin Spice last fall (was amazing) and now Caramel Iced Cappuccino for this spring (another amazing flavour imo).
I personally don't like the Old Dutch ketchup either, much prefer the Lays, and even moreso, the Miss Vickie's Sweet and Spicy ketchup, as they're a tasty kettle chip.

Yes, ketchup chips are year-round in Canada! I used to live in Michigan and would cross the border to get my ketchup chips. Now I'm in Florida, and I have my mom ship them to me. 😂😂

22:13 Quebec is known for their dairy/cheese selections; the cheese departments in most grocery stores have a small international/global cheeses (swiss, gouda, cheddar, etc) and then the Quebec cheese section is always massive. Also, St-Albert Ontario makes St-Albert cheese ans they are known for their cheese curds, which we put on poutine (fries topped with brown or chicken gravy with cheese curds😋) however Quebec is the poutine province 😗 if you do ever plan a trip to Canada, i suggest going to the nations capital, Ottawa Ontario, where you will get a lot of french canadian culture and cuisine 🤗

I remember when i got put on to sour cream at the bottom n i never looked back lmaoo it just comes out more evenly distributed on a hard shell compared to putting it on top you get a bite full of sour cream on the first bite 😭

Love the story of your dogs! I adopted mine from a shelter too (she’s a Border Collie mix) and also didn’t get to take her home the same day either. It was soooo sad because my mom and I had spent like an hour and a half or longer on this Saturday morning playing with her and giving her loves, and then had to put her back in the kennel because she’d have to be spayed before I could take her home 😭 I was like “I’m coming to get you Monday, I swear, just a couple more days.” I mean it worked out since it gave me a couple days to get everything she’d need and get everything set up, but ohhh that look of betrayal when I had to leave her there just gutted me

This is awesome! I’m Canadian, and lays ketchup chips have always been my top favourite chips, they’re so good. All dressed chips and hickory sticks are good too. And poutine is delicious. Harvey’s (a Canadian fast food) has my favourite poutine
The only other flavour of Hickory Sticks is Salt & Vinegar. As kids we called Eat-More "a big long poo." 🤣 There's only the on kind of the Hawkins Cheezies. Also, all cheese puff snacks are referred to as cheezies. It says pops on the Coffee Crisp, because it's advertising the Coffee Crisp Pops. Which is the chocolate bar, but in little bite size balls. They also make Kit Kat Pops.

Yes as a fellow American I have friends from Canada and indeed the kethup chips are year around it's a Canadian flavor specialty and Old Dutch is the main og favorite brand because their are other brands who produce kethup chips but Old Dutch is the og if I remember correctly

I’m from Canada and I think it’s so funny to watch Americans try things that are so normal here. Your smarties we call rockets. Same package and everything just different name. I also had no idea the KD was only in Canada that one shocked me, that is the main Mac n cheese here
Maltesers, wine gums, Cadbury chocolate are English not Canadian, although they're popular here. I wish that my fellow Canadians had told you where some of those candies are from. Coffee crisp is from Toronto although it originated in England & Hawkins Cheezies are made in a very small city about 40mins from where I live in a place called Belleville (2 hrs East of Toronto). Hawkins only makes 1 product b/c it's what they're famous for. (Small production. Family owned). This box is missing Maple candy.

I am so glad they sent old Dutch ketchup chips. They’re my all time favourite chips. Yes all year round and old Dutch ketchup is soooo much better than lays ketchup
I love Maltese, I haven’t been able to find them in 10 years. they had them at Walmart for maybe a year and then they were gone, the little bag like y’all have and then a bucket just about maybe 6 inches tall 5 inches round it wasn’t huge but it was a good size that would last for a little bit. They are similar to the whoppers but a thousand percent better

We have MM’s in Canada too but I definitely prefer Smarties because I like the skinny shape more and it’s slightly less sweet! 🥰 we also have your version of smarties in Canada but they’re called Rockets! It’s the same hard chalky candy in the same kind of packaging
