It was truly great surprise and even more to see your comeback with such a great character as Crixus himself! I am so glad you are back finaly and that fact you made Crixus is just amazing. I am literaly out of words. I don't know if its caused by that i am tired or you just surprised me with that so i am just speechless. You did such a well done tribute for Crixus character and by my opinion one of the best for him. Just the song and the way how you potray this character in Glory, Blood and Victory.... pure masterpiece. Again i am so glad you made his character as a first video after a long time, because you were talking about making one for him since you carry his name on your channel! And i think you are worthy to carry this glourious name. As you maybe know. I love story telling videos more than the action ones because, edit a story is in my eyes the hardest thing possible to edit (Edit something which cause emotions) and you made that one right here brother. My eyes were fulled by joy and happinies during watching this video, because you are one of underrated editors on youtube who's deserve far more attention and love from people. The way how you connected all those scenes with beautiful cinematography and mainly brotherhood between Crixus and Spartacus always got me... I enjoyed his character so much until his final moments and i wish he could have better ending in peace and not in tragedy death. But he was a gladiator, warrior, fighter and he lived in arena with his full heart. I will not point my favorites, because story telling videos are my favorites so every second you made there is just beauty for my eyes and i will watch this again for sure just for getting better mood. This show helped me get through a bad time in my life when I was on drugs and nobody wanted anything to do with me. But now that I’m better and I’m watching these scenes of crixus makes me cry. This series will always be in my heart.

I couldn’t forget the feelings I felt throughout this entire show. It meant so much to me and the characters were just amazing. I actually liked Crixus as much as Spartacus
He died a free man fighting for what he believed in and what he loved and above all else he did this evolving from a gladiator that was a God in the arena
I remember hearing that Manu suffered a car accident and his fixed gaze is the result of a trauma that he used for the character of Crixo, in addition to his scars that gave him the seasoning for the role of the warrior. A job with excellence, Mr. Manu.
Crixus is legit the best character for me. I care about those who see the most positive character development. Most are the same the entire time but crixus develops into a man beyond the shallow glory of winning a fight
Quintus is phenomen. He never liked his job lanista but he was best way better than father. He became best lanista in republic. His judgmental to see potencial in gladiator was amazing.

This was a Beautiful Masterpiece for My All Time Favorite Role for Manu Bennet and My Second Favorite Character on Spartacus. Manu Bennet’s Incredible Performance as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke on Arrow was The Sole Reason I got into Watching Spartacus.
This show is legend These people were legends Crixus did not die a faceless slave forgotten to history and Im sure his spirit would appreciate Manu Bennetts amazing portrayal of his journey.

Slavery is still here, in a legal form. People have bosses, who limit their freedom so that they can go on expensive vacations, while people slave for them and get crumvs of bread. Slavery as we know it is gone, true, but people are still slaves.

No evidence exists that points towards either Spartacus or Crixus motivation being to end slavery, no evidence against it either tbf. I think the divide may have been race based. The Gauls split off with Crixus, the Thracians stayed with Spartacus etc. I believe in real life Gannicus also split off, probably taking a lot of Gauls and other Celtics with him (Show changed this) It makes sense, in real life there likely would have been a language and culture barrier between them all. I could be wrong though, we will never know these things sadly.

Ashur earned the right to fight Gan along side Crixus because Ashur fought to remain. Crixus honor was not part of the deal. What was part of the deal was trying to kill the opponents gladiators for the house of Batiatis. It was dirty to ruin Ashur, blind side him, and cripple him.
His final scene, like so many cast other members, was a tough one. A lion being swatted by a pesky piss eating shit of a fly. They really knew how to toy with your emotion when they produced this. So, so good.
One of my top favorite shows on Netflix. Crixus also acts in the Netflix show Arrow as Slade. Check him out. This will always be my favorite role of his, though. Absolutely awe inspiring.
