It is and it's annoying. No bassdrops and weird changes to reverb and stuff as evident with the opening drum line where the reverb randomly cuts out. Honestly one of the most satisfying parts of the album was the bass drops in my opinion

Tom Macgillivray Randomly? Well placed rather. Think of it with vocals and its the perfect place. The drums become a bit more in your face. Mix seems tighter because of it. More focused and then boom the next part hits. Very smart mixing.
