I just received my Populele Pro 2 And I really like it. I went had ordered mine with the case and the strap, both which are very nice. I haven't gotten to use the amp yet because I have to charge it but I have played it with the classes and it sounds pretty good. I have other ukuleles that are more expensive that might sound a bit better but this really isn't bad at all and I don't have anothrt ukulele with the built-in amp and effects. I do wish they had put, at the very least, side fret markers on it, but I had noted this was missing and ordered them ahead of time. I will be adding those to my ukulele. At some point I will likely add better strings which will improve the sound considerably I am sure.
Nice Review. I actually DO have something negative. Ordered the Ukulele in September, still haven't received it and neither have thousands of others. (April 2022)

Can you use the Populele App on a Windows based Desktop Computer using an external webcam mic? I would prefer to have a larger screen to practice the lessons with.
I'd like the Populele U2 with a pickup but without on board reverb, chorus, and delay. So, I ordered the pre pro version and will install a pickup. Found it on wally world for under $63.

I just got mine and it's actually holding its tune for a little longer than my others have. New strings take about 2 weeks to settle in so plan on tuning regularly.
No you're not! I'm a total music idiot and I started playing during the first covid lockdown and play well enough now to entertain myself and family anyway. Not sure I would take it on the road, especially since I can't sing! I have found that I really enjoy chord melody because you can hear the tune even if you aren't singing.

How did the tuning nobs feel? Did it hold its tune?
I just got mine and it's actually holding its tune for a little longer than my others have. New strings take about 2 weeks to settle in so plan on tuning regularly.
Almost forgot, the tuning knobs aren't bad at all. I have a ukulele that's better and some that are way worse so this falls about in the middle.

You can learn how to play on a traditional ukulele, I don't think the ukulele is that difficult. Just get a 30$ ukulele, it works fine.
