@firetalkwithme5 why are you protecting the person by not saying their name, if they are scamming say the name so others can be informed. These Scammers are pathetic
Paying by bankntransfer is very smart. The record stays forever in your bank transactions so even if you lose the receipt the vank transfer is there on record. Smart move
Yea, I know that story that is Rush Asare but finally, he has gotten the land back after a series of court cases between him and the person claiming the land.😊
Ghana should pass law where you have to put up $500 to challenge land purchase. If you are found as owner you get it back if not it goes to the other party as an inconvenience fee (sorry for wasting your time)
@@IshmealLamptey if someone wants to contest land ownership they would submit the fee before authorities would halt construction. Once paid the parties with submit documents to determine true ownership.
Very educative video once again Ishmael. This is a great lesson on the essence of getting an official land search done. I am curious to know the reaction of the person you bought the land from after you told him about the confrontation with the ''imposter owner''. Also, have you decided/ started to register your land as the new owner? Interested to know the requirements and price for land registration with any overall experience you can share on that front registering land.
The owner was surprised to hear about the imposter. We are yet to begin the land registration process. We currently do not have information to all the requirements and the cost yet. Once we get through wirh that phase, i certainly will make a Video about it.
Unfortunately I already bought the land. It was after I bought the land from the person, the person done the land search I requested him to do so, at the time I did not know I should have done the search before the purchase. am also sure you know the land that have purchase, you currently have building projects in the area. I was also informed by the person I bought the land from, that all the land search for that particular land area is the same! no history for the land 😢
Well, it is usually your responsibility as the buyer to conduct the search before making any payments. If you have your own surveyor take coordinate of specific points of the land, then you can be sure of the search results. If you ask the seller to do the search, they may take points which may fall under their jurisdiction and not necessarily the place you want to buy.
Also, there is always a history on the land where it clarifies it as either a state land or not. And will also let you know whether there's limitation on it or not
Thanks for sharing this very important aspect of purchasing land in Ghana.

Oh i see
How much does it cost to transfer or register the land into your name please.
Cost usually is determined based on a couple of factors such as location, value of land among others
Thanks for the information. Please, i think Ashanti region is different. Can you please make a video on buying a land in Kumasi
The steps in land acquisition in Ghana is the same in every region
