Kayak bass fishing on a new lake

I fished the Upper Mud Lake in WV. It’s a bit of a drive from Ashland, KY (about 90 minutes) so I won’t be going there often. I was told that in spite of its name it doesn’t really muddy up in the spring and the DNR doesn’t draw it down for the winter. So - I feel a spring trip in 2025. Nice video. Always seems to catch a nice first fish then never seem to get bigger, but you did get 2 on the board fish. Beautiful lake. Enjoyed it.
