Shiru l’Adonai shir chadash
Sing to Adonai a new song!
שִׁירוּ לַאֲדֹנָי כָּל הָאָרֶץ
Shiru l’Adonai kol ha’aretz
Sing to Adonai, all the earth!
שִׁירוּ לַאֲדֹנָי בָּרְכוּ שְׁמוֹ
Shiru l’Adonai bar’chu sh’mo
Sing to Adonai; bless His name!
בַּשְּׂרוּ מִיּוֹם לְיוֹם יְשׁוּעָתוֹ
Bas’ru miyom l’yom yeshu’ato
Proclaim His salvation from day to day.
סַפְּרוּ בַגּוֹיִם כְּבוֹדוֹ
Sapru vagoyim k’vodo
Declare His glory among the nations,
בְּכָל הָעַמִּים נִפְלְאוֹתָיו
B’chol ha’amim nifl’otav
His marvelous deeds among all peoples.
כִּי גָדוֹל אֲדֹנָי וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד
Ki gadol Adonai umehulal me’od
For Adonai is great, and greatly to be praised.
נוֹרָא הוּא עַל כָּל אֱלֹהִים
Nora hu al kol elohim
He is to be feared above all gods.
כִּי כָּל אֱלֹהֵי הָעַמִּים אֱלִילִים
Ki kol elohei ha’amim elilim
For all the gods of the peoples are idols,
וַאֲדֹנָי שָׁמַיִם עָשָׂה
Va’Adonai shamayim asah
But Adonai made the heavens.
הוֹד וְהָדָר לְפָנָיו
Hod v’hadar l’fanav
Honor and majesty are before Him;
עֹז וְתִפְאֶרֶת בְּמִקְדָּשׁוֹ
Oz v’tif’eret b’mikdasho
Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.
הָבוּ לַאֲדֹנָי מִשְׁפְּחוֹת עַמִּים
Havu l’Adonai mishp’khot amim
Ascribe to Adonai, you families of nations,
הָבוּ לַאֲדֹנָי כָּבוֹד וָעֹז
Havu l’Adonai kavod va’oz
Ascribe to Adonai glory and strength.
הָבוּ לַאֲדֹנָי כְּבוֹד שְׁמוֹ
Havu l’Adonai k’vod sh’mo
Ascribe to Adonai the glory due His name.
שְׂאוּ מִנְחָה וּבֹאוּ לְחַצְרוֹתָיו
Seu mincha u’vo’u l’chatz’rotav
Bring an offering and come into His courts.
הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לַאֲדֹנָי בְּהַדְרַת קֹדֶשׁ
Hishtachavu l’Adonai b’hadrat kodesh
Worship Adonai in the beauty of holiness;
חִילוּ מִפָּנָיו כָּל הָאָרֶץ
Chilu m’panav kol ha’aretz
Tremble before Him, all the earth.
אִמְרוּ בַגּוֹיִם אֲדֹנָי מָלָךְ
Imru vagoyim Adonai malach
Say among the nations, 'Adonai reigns.'
אַף תִּכּוֹן תֵּבֵל בַּל תִּמּוֹט
Af tikon tevel bal timot
The world is firmly established; it will not be moved.
יָדִין עַמִּים בְּמֵישָׁרִים
Yadin amim b’meysharim
He will judge the peoples with equity.
יִשְׂמְחוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵל הָאָרֶץ
Yism’chu hashamaim v’tagel ha’aretz
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad.
יִרְעַם הַיָּם וּמְלֹאוֹ
Yir’am hayam u’m’lo’o
Let the sea roar, and all it contains.
יַעֲלֹז שָׂדַי וְכָל אֲשֶׁר בּוֹ
Ya’aloz sadai v’chol asher bo
Let the field be joyful, and all that is in it.
אָז יְרַנְּנוּ כָּל עֲצֵי יָעַר
Az y’rann’nu kol atzei ya’ar
Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy.
לִפְנֵי אֲדֹנָי כִּי בָא
Lifnei Adonai ki ba
Before Adonai, for He is coming.
כִּי בָא לִשְׁפֹּט הָאָרֶץ
Ki ba lishpot ha’aretz
For He is coming to judge the earth.
יִשְׁפֹּט תֵּבֵל בְּצֶדֶק
Yishpot tevel b’tzedek
He will judge the world with righteousness,
וְעַמִּים בֶּאֱמוּנָתוֹ
V’amim b’emunato
And the peoples in His faithfulness.
