I have to say, the fact that you play three games and show them, good or bad, versus just showing amazing performances is a great thing. Kudos to you for that. As for the index, I consult it whenever I unlock/buy a new tank and it is hugely helpful and appreciated.
my firs tier X tank! i remember accidentally watching an ad of world of tanks with Stb1 and immediately fell in love with it. It was quite easy to grind till you reach the CHI-RI, fuck the chiri.
My most beloved, performing and fun tank to play on ridgelines, fast, amazing dpm, great penetration, near invulnerable turret, impressive gun depression, and hulldown almost invincible. Tears through everything, but still having trouble at times with facing the 279 (e). Disgustingly pleasing tank. Glad I mained this and the e50m.
Skill, I love your list and use it all the time. By the way, one omission, the Tier VIII Caernarvon is not rated. The Premium Caernarvon AX is rated. But, the Caernarvon Tier VIII and the Premium AX do not play exactly the same. I prefer the Tier VIII over the Premium Version. Thanks.
I actually didn't feel the need for that, I just write a partial of the tank name (ex: for PT you will get all tanks that have PT in the name). I find it amazingly good, too, I tried your builds Skieeeeel, until I felt good with the build, then I managed to 3 mark 6 tanks. SIX, me, an average Joe! Quite nice feeling 😱
Sta2 also nice? I could get it, but have too choice between stg (already have 5skill USSR med crew), sta 2 (good for crew training, but dont have line researched yet but good Japan crew recruits in barracks), or hwk 30 (looks fun but no german boosters available). Any advice?
@@256mo I average 52% in my last 1k games so take this with a HUGE grain of salt😂😂😂. I can only speak based off a small amount of experience since I don't have the 3 vehicles you mentioned anyway. STA-2 is a prem STA-1, there's nothing separating them except the fact that STA-2 can earn more credits, being a prem. If you like the STA-1, go for the STA-2. Feels a bit scammy from WG to release a literal tech tree tank, slap prem and say it's a new tank though. STG has a big gun and low profile, but crap reload time. Get it if you like the sniping role. Playing aggressive requires more skill cuz it's turret doesn't hold up well against gold in close-up hull-down situations, especially against higher tiers. Feels great when you pop about a 3rd to half of a lower tier's how off per shot though, sometimes more. HWK is a sneaky tonk with a respectable gun. It's bigger than your average light so you need to really know the bush mechanics n stuff (concealment related) by now. It's great when you have games where the enemy's blind as a bat and you can run around bushes unspotted utilizing it's mt-like gun which can get you some pretty high dmg games, 2-5k depending on your skill level, but with ELC 90s dominating prem t8 lights, personally I'd hold off the HWK, it's skill requirement is outta my depth. That being said, so far it's just abt getting those feel-good games. If you want a credit-maker, I've heard good things abt aggressive STA-2s and self-spotting damage-dealing HWKs. STG can make credits maybe at the expense of your team. I'm talking ranked type gameplay: just do whatever it takes to get dmg, don't care abt the wins. These are just my opinions though. Someone else may have a different view. At the end of the day, it depends on which one of em makes your tanking experience fun.

STG has a big gun, can bounce a little bit with its turret (if i remember correctly) and since u have a 5 perk crew which u can use it on then i would consider it HWK cant say much. I am not a light tank player Altough i hope u dont spend your money because there are better options for the same price (like progetto, borrat)

I have 1k gold and almost 6k bonds (lost the opportunity for 3k not too long ago, because I was on holiday). I just play for fun, grind credits and bonds (for the tanks). If I can get Alpine Tiger and wait for trade in, I could get a 6500 gold premium tank (tier8). I know STA2 would be 6600, but if it would be worth it, I would spent that 2 euros, although I aint gonna give them any more money then that for the state of this game now. I guess, seen my other premium tanks, that the HWK30 is the most different en therefor, unique and fun gameplay. Thanks for the answers!

Great gun on the STA1, poor alpha and atrocious hull on a big frame… make sure you hide as much of your tank as possible & snipe and you’ll do well. The Type 61 is waaaay better, and the gun is amazing! Still a bit of a glass cannon but the overall package is so good. And then you get the cherry on top… STB1 is sooo good!!! 🤤
You had me worried with the "ammo incomplete" message. I once jumped into a game with only around 10 shells loaded. Wasn't fun, but I didn't die. I spotted for the rest of the round.
Stb 1 is muy favorite medium tier X tank, allthough I dont have 140, but from M48 patton, UDES 15/16 AMD itself I think is the best one. Your web Index is amazing, I check It out every single day to choose field modifications or equipment, but not allways selecting the same things. Congrats for all the stuff you make

I think STB is quite a bit better than 140, because it has more damage per shot and most importantly more gun depression which is key in today meta imo. Especially in rankes battles i struggled quite a bit with my 140 while STBs basically farmed whole teams in the meanwhile.

First game just shows how bad stb turret is. It's not even funny how easy it is to pen when you have heat ammunition. Even with ap and apcr you can penetrate it if you are abover avarage player
just play the battle right now i was alone vs 4 players kill 1 then try to kill second one ...i pres shoot like 10 times (2-3seconds before i die) yet game dont shot at all ....and i die because of that where i can win the battle WTF

Love the STB-1. I'm a trash player but even I can average 3k per game every couple of days without gold and rations. Definitely F2P friendly.

On many tanks I don't use all of field modifications just because I think tank specyfication balance is in point on them

I have way better results with the Patton and M60 than the STB-1, but 4k DPM is hilarious every now and then.

First battle the ridge you were behind is glitched or something because you can shoot through the ridge line I have seen it before. Love the videos

STB-1 is my first X tank and I loved it from the first game. Still keeping quite good winrate on it. Amazing tank.

Stb-1 is a better tank in a tier 10 mm but if there's a tier 8 mm u can kind of brawl with 140 against the tier 8 tanks very well.

That was not a good location you chose in the first battle. Sliding up and down that hill and not having enough gun depression was less than optimal.

Gun depression is why I think that the Swedish Mediums are better. Also The Index is a solid 10 bananas out of 10. I go there instead of GG.tanks now.
